I am getting married at the Riu in July and I have not heard anything about this. I do know that you have to pay a day pass, but I was not informed about not having outside vendors go to the Riu at all.

I am getting married at the Riu Palace in July. Daniela, the wedding coordinator, has been really cooperative thus far. I have not had any problems. I am going to visit in April and I will take lots of pics.

Did anyone here about fortunoff being bought by lord and taylor. I don't know if I should keep my registry there. Any suggestions?

We are also getting married home. We are having it at a restaurant with just family. But I am open to any other suggestions.

I love the idea of the oot-tote bags. However, how are you getting all of these things to Mexico? Are you packing a separate suitcase for all the goodies for the oot bags, along with the oot bags. I too wondered what you used the travel mugs for.

I was given a price for the prehispanic dancers that included the fire dancers. Does anyone know what this dance is or if it is worth it.

I am getting married at the Riu in Cabo. I only have my mom, dad, and brothers coming from my side of the family. Everyone elset that is coming is on my fiances side of the family.. So, I understand where you are coming from. Don't be stressed no mater what, your wedding will be beautiful.

I wanted to hire fire-dancers and Daniela told me that the price depends on the music I want. Did she tell anyone else this? How long are the fire dancers there for?

I am getting married at the Gazebo, then I am having my cocktail hour in the English Garden. Our Reception will be in the ballroom. I am hiring Oxten.tv to come and decorate the ballroom. I like the idea of an outside wedding too, my fiance and I are still deciding.

We are having out ceremony at he gazebo. I too did not like the mexican because I thought it was too small. I think it is beautiful, but to small. So, we are having it either on the beach or in the ballroom. We are still debating. We do know that we are hiring this company called Oxten (OXTEN -LOS CABOS-). They do nice work and transform the room for you which ever way you want. The ballroom does not have a dance floor so you would have to purchase one and it does not have much style. Which is why we are hiring these people. I will let you know what I am def. doing, hopefully very soon. I don't know what I am doing for cocktail yet.

I was there in August and I had a great time. I did notice that some people were complaining about their rooms because they did not get the room they requested. We did not have a problem. The food was great and yes there is so much food. When they say all inclusive, they mean all inclusive. We are getting married in July at the Riu. We will have 50 guests coming to our wedding. There are nicer places to have your wedding in Cabo, but I liked that the Riu is an all inclusive and is very big. My fiance and I went to see Dreams and it is very beautiful, but it was a little to quiet for our crowd. The reception must end at 10:00 too. At the Riu it ends at 11:00pm. Some people have positive things to say abou the Riu and some people have negative things to say, but I am being positive and I am just hoping that everything goes the way it is supposed to. Daniela, the wedding coordinator, has been very responsive and has gotten back to me quickly.
