I was just wondering if brides can TTD no matter what type of material their dress is? I am planning on having a small party with all my friends upon my return and I would like to put on my dress for that occasion. also, I would like to tell my mom that the dress "survived" the photo session ! Most pools close at 8pm because that is when they clean it and put lots and lots of clorine for the next day.

She now claims that we are able to have it on May 10th, just not until 6pm. Will that give us enough time for our cocktail hour, reception, and dancing? Amy, If there is a wedding before you, that may cause some "issues" between both brides... a day before or a day after might be better if you do not want no one to "be in your way" on your wedding day. Eg. Maybe the restaurant you want won't be available because of the other couple? When is the sunset in May? Maybe you won't like getting married "in the dark". In Dec. the sunset is at 5:15. As for the e-mails from Sandra (I never wrote to Landy), I always get a response a few days later (the max being 5 days). I have a hotmail account, maybe it's because of your e-mail account? The photographer Sol Tamargo has written somewhere on this forum that sometimes she doesn't get e-mails because of the e-mail account.

I'm very happy for you ! ! ! Don't you still have a maternity leave after the baby is born ? In Quebec, the mother has 1 year of maternity leave + father has 5 weeks.

It took me a while to give you all some feedbacks but that is because I had troubles getting in touch with the owner... Finally, I will have my dress for the 15th of November. That will give me 3 weeks to have it altered. I am glad that it won't be arriving 7 days before I leave but 3 weeks !

thanks Gwyne and Mark! My photographer is Elizabeth Medina and she has done 1 wedding there this past June...so she knows the resort. I must admit to you all that I am a picture souvenir freak... When my 1st daughter was born, I use to have 1 or 2 picture rolls per week to develop (that was 5 years ago!). Lucky for me know that I have a digital camera (less expensive...) since I take as much pictures today than 5 years ago but put them on a cd to watch on my computer or tv (slideshow). That is why I would like so many pictures on my wedding day...finally, pictures with me in them; not just my kids + pets !

Hi ! In December the sunset is Riviera Maya is around 5:10. My wedding is at 2:30 (was at 3pm before). The ceremony will probably be 30 minutes (inclding the family sand ceremony). After the family portraits on the beach (we are 12 people), how long will it take to have my pictures taken with only my husband to be? My plans are to have pictures on the beach and at a few places on the resort since I will like to have a variety of picture at different places. My guest will be waiting for me at the lobby bar (on top of the gorgeous staircase at Dreams Tulums). My plans is to end my pictures on the stairs and then have my toast there + family pictures. In between the family portraits on the beach and the ones on the lobby stair case, how long do I need?

Is she really going to the wedding? ...has she officiallly reserved plane + hotel? Maybe she is doing this to you because it is costing her some $$$ to go to your wedding ... maybe ! I don't know... A good friend would of told you before that she couldn't pay at the present moment, no?

I would let the family rush ... You told the family 1st that the wedding was on a beach on a certain date, no? So why did your step-sister plan her wedding 7 days after yours? That is not very nice... I don't have a sister, but I would be so mad at her if she would of done this to me ! Talk some sense into her, mabe things will turn out fine
