Welcome ! I just got married there in December; read my review and that should answer many of your questions !

Thank you again for all the nice comments ! We had to do the hair flipping picture so many times ! ! My hair is very long and it kept on falling on my face instead of flipping over ! ! ! I don't know how many hair pictures I will receive on my disks but now I know that I will at least have one good one... actually a very good one !

I still can't believe that'a me... Me being married now is more and more sinking in my head now ! ! Seing the pictures of my daughters and the twins all together make me miss our wonderful time all together (my brother's twin boys live in Calgary; my family in Montreal...) I would so like to get married all over again ! !

I got my daughters dresses at Winners ... 30 $ (canadian) ! ! ! They looked like 200$ dresses ! ! ! A good tip if you need girls dresses: go to Winners in April. That is the time of year where they have 1st communion dresses and other white or ivory dresses! When I saw them, I had to buy them ! Hoping they would fit 9 months later (I got married in December). When I went wedding dress shopping, I laught when I saw very expensive flower girls dresses that didn't look better than the ones I got at Winners ! ! ! If you don't have a Winners near your house, wait in April and go to a kids store. They will have white + ivory dresses, I am sure (1st communion time)

By the way, the flower girls are my daughters !

This past Saturday, I just had my AHR. I wore my wedding dress for the 3rd time (wedding day, TTD session and AHR). and everyone loved to see me in it ! It was -14 degrees in Montreal and the say before it snowed 15 cm. Being in a very white dress + tan felt great in that type of weather ! The family also enjoyed seing Marc in his beige suit. We reserved the intire restaurant for lunch and inbetween each course, my guests got to see a slide show ( the vacation pictures, the getting ready pictures, the ceremony + reception pictures + the pictures of TTD that my brother took). Everyone was really happy to see the slide shows as well. It was like a regular wedding reception (had to kiss when people made noise with the glasses), some people spoke on our behalf, etc... At the end, people wanted me to TTD in the snow ! ! ! !They couldn't believe how my dress looked new after the horses + water pictures !

I was just wondering if someone can help me with photoshop... Since my wedding planner did not tell the people to move their beach chairs away from my wedding gazebo, I have a few pictures (good ones) with us having chairs by our side ! I also have a few pictures with people (other tourists) in the back (far away) I would just like to take them away... HELP!

My wedding review The wedding planner at the resort: One week before I left to Mexico, she asked me to complete some forms concerning my wedding. I took the basic wedding package and added a few thing. Most of all the extras that I asked for, I did not get... You would think that since you pay more, you would get the extras ! In other words, I didn't get the white bows on my chairs, the flower arrangements on the ceremony table as well as the flower arrangement on my weding table for the reception. The next day, I wrote a letter to her telling her what she forgeot to do (we had a meeting 2 days prior to the wedding + she received the forms she asked me to fill a week before/ all of this was said and written a few times!!!). 3 days later, her assistant called me since the wedding planner was on vacation now. There was nothing she could do for me and told me: "we will not charge you for the extras" DAHHHHH ! Why would I pay for something I didn't get ? The only thing the resort offered me was a free upgrade the next time I would go there. There was 2 chairs on the beach close to the wedding gazebo and my mother in law told the wedding coordinator to ask them to move them so the pictures + video would not have them in them. She said she would take care of it...guess what, she didn't! Everyone was busy + stressed and once I was about to walk down the aisle, that is whem my mother in law noticed the chairs were still there. it was too late now. At this point, that is when I noticed there was no bows on the chairs, the flowers on the table + two long chairs next to the gazebo. We had our meal at Portofino (in the wine cellar). The food was amazing but they were serving us pretty fast! Was it because the 4 kids were noisy and having fun ? I do not know ! But by 9:45, we were done and I was so tired that this didn't bother me at all ! The photographer, Elizabeth Medina, AMAZING ! She was very ponctual and even called me at the spa to tell me she arrived. A nice gesture to take away some stress! At 2:40 (my wedding was at 3!), the sky was dark grey and it started to rain...alot ! As she was taking pictures of me, she was also calming my nerves about the weather and guess what... at 3:15, my wedding started WITHOUT A TRACE OF RAIN !! She also took the time to read all the group pictures I wanted and we did them all thanks to her. For those who are not married, I suggest to do this since once the moment arrives, you might forget some pictures you wanted ! The next day, we arranged a TTD with the horses and water and I asked my brother to film it since Elizabeth was taking pictures. For some reasons, he prefered taking pictures rather than filming ( I told him 3 times to stop taking pictures and to film ! ! !) He was to take pictures of the ranch + horses only, not us since that is the reason why we asked Elizabeth to to that! So, I have a short 12 minutes video... and a few pictures, but I know that the ones taken by Elizabeth will be so much better ! For now, I get to look at my brothers pictures while I wait for Elizabeth's pictures; this kinda helps the wait ! ! 10 days after my wedding, she sent me 2 teaser pictures. WOW ! They are amazing and I can't wait to see the rest, especially the ones with the horses! Marc was so affraid of his horse (he didn't know how to control him) ! ! ! The resort: FANTASTIC ! We waited for about 10 minutes for the restaurants and when it was all of us (15 people) we only waited for 25-40 minutes. The food is amazing, the resort is so pretty and the staff is amazing (beside the wedding planner lack of things). The shows at night are great and the kid's club is amazing ! I recommend this resort to everyone! pm me if you need more info!

I took 3700 pictures during my stay at dreams tulum ! ! If anyone needs pictures or advice about this resort, I would be glad to help! I guess I should write my wedding review ASAP !!!!

Just wonderful! Elizabeth did, as always, an amazing job!

On our last day at Dreams Tulum, we took a few pictures of us before the sunset. I bought some white dress just before we left to Mexico.

I went through the same thing! At 1st, I loved the dress then I thought it was too simple... Once I put it on in Mexico, it felt perfect! And now that I look at my pictures, I do not regret it at all.

After only 10 days, Elizabeth Medina has just send me 2 teaser pictures ! I am so happy with her work ! She was so nice and helpful on my wedding day + ttd photo session. It was raining on my wedding day, and she was the one that calmed my nerves as well as giving me positive vibes for good weather ! At 3:15, I got married on the beach... with no rain ! Can't wait to see the rest !

Just got back from my vacation and Air Canada charges 50$ per suitcase if it's over weight... You are allowed 2 suitcases per person in most airlines, why not take 2? The reason for the weigt limit is that workers at the airposrt need to lift them up ! That is why they set a limit.
