  1. Ours was about 20 to 25 minutes. We went with whatever the minister usually says, it was beautiful. We also did the sand ceremony. It was perfect for us. I would say it is your wedding and if you want extra readings, you should have them! 40 minutes isn't bad, a traditional wedding here would be at least that, if not longer.
  2. I will write a review as soon as I have time, it has been crazy since we got back. Everything was absolutly fantastic! my father and son walking me down the isle. Saying our vows Sand Ceremony
  3. That's a tough one, $600 is a lot of money. What if you had a cute little beach route map made and give it to your younger family and friends and have taxi's for the older folks. The taxi's wouldn't be too much, figure if 4 people fit to one cab, 20 cab rides there 20 back. Wouldn't think the ride would be more than $5 to $10 each. But, then you have the hassle of having enough taxi's and filling them full. Good luck deciding.
  4. Haven't really thought about this yet, guess I should. I think we will go room to room like Sara is doing. For the most part we are all taking the same flight so having things set up before anyone arrives is impossible. Or maybe at the welcome dinner...aaghhh more decisions. The closer it gets the more I realize I have to figure out yet.
  5. Congrats! That is very exciting!
  6. Dear self, Learn some patience, you used to have it, find it and get it back. Also, Stop worrying about getting married, yes it is getting closer and all will be fine. You will not change your mind and he will not change his mind, it will happen, and you will like it.
  7. So sorry to hear that. Your grandmas will have the best seats in the house for your wedding, they will be with you.
  8. Great pictures, I love the view from where the dinner was!
  9. My wedding dress was super cheap (under $100) and I love it. I made the invitations and am working on making the luggage tags. The oot bags, most items I found for cheap on ebay. The hotel is all inclusive so they are sectioning part of a restaurant off for the first night so we can all have dinner together. No need to pay extra for a welcome dinner! We have two photographers that are close friends of ours coming. They would be offended if we were to actually hire one. I know there is more, just not coming to me at the moment. My goal is to keep this wedding under $6500 for absolutely everything. So therefore I must be very cheap!!

This way we don't have to get each individual person these specific things that all of them won't need... It will be like those baskets in the restrooms at local weddings. That is a good idea, may have to steal this one!!
  11. Thanks for taking the time to write such a great review! Sounds like you had a beautiful wedding! Do you have any pictures as well? I would love to see the way your tables were set up, see if it's close to what I visualized while reading.
  12. I would like to go to one and have them do my make up, just not sure how you go about doing that! Do I just walk up to it and say I want a makeover or do you make appointments? Are they free if you buy a certain amount of products? Is the make up really that expensive? Is there a certain one you'd recommend? Thanks!
