Hey, my post kinda made sense, even though I was practically knocked out! Good job, Martha! I love Maria's response! She always knows how to get straight to the point. haha! People think we have it easy....little do they know. We are many things to many children. And you are right, we often have to be mommy and daddy because they dont have a great support system at home. During the school year, the children are in our care more hours than their parents...and, we don't have just 1, 2, or 3 children...we can have 25! I am NOT complaining about my career choice...I love it. More money would be excellent, but at this point, we have made it this far w/o living in poverty and that in it's self is a great feat!

That sucks! I also teach 2nd grade and seriously this is the hardest job ever. No one ever believes me...but it is! We have to emotionally "well" everyday we are at school...we have to continue our own learning to get educated on new techniques, we have plan lessons, grade papers, sometimes act as the nurse, counselor, and principal. I love my job and it is harder than my FI...and he blows up sh*t for a living. Most days I am more emotionally drained that anything. I took my sleeping pill an hour ago and should have been in bed 45 min ago....I am faaaaaaaaaaaaaaallig asleep, so if makes no sense, I correct in morning.

FYI. A friend of mine got married here in April. It was AWFUL! Well, the wedding was beautiful, but what they encountered was horrible. When they all arrived, they were overbooked so they send 90% of guests to a sister resort (that was not as nice). They debated with them for almost FIVE hours over this and it was a no-go. The bride had to get ready on her wedding day AT the salon because she got moved to the other resort. They had to wait 20 for the bride's mother and brother to arrive from the other resort to the Royal on the wedding day and the WC did NOT want to wait! She was seriously going to start w/o them! The bride put her foot down and refused to go anywhere until her mom and brother were there! Could you imagine The reason they were late? The shuttle they had pick them up was late. Had they all ended up at the Royal together, this would not have happened. In other words, get room blocks if you are gonna stay here. The wedding ended up being gorgeous and the reception was fun!

After seeing Anny's wedding, I am so getting parasols for my guests. I was initially just getting them for the junior bridesmaids, but the sun is gonna be horrible in July that I want my guests to be somewhat comfy! I need to get a tall enough suitcase to take them over there though.

That's cute....you would need to find a small sombrero though...most are pretty big. Unless you have an older flower girl. I am using a dark pink pail or bucket.

Thanks for all your input ladies and Jason! I actually do NOT want to get married ON the beach...I think I am the only one! lol We are still trying to decide....the reason I loved Iberostar was because it is so affordable and because they have so much to offer. But, we do have 2 people going that have really bad backs and I dont want to make the walk around the resort or to/from the beach too rough on them. Ah..decisions!
