  4. awww this is so great!! thanks girls! perfect timing as i'm flipping out about our wedding timing at this moment
  5. we're getting married at las caletas on November 3, 2008. I recently saw a sunset calculator in another thread and punched our date in. Concerned over the time between ceremony starting and the sun setting I emailed our WC to see if we could move up the timing. No such luck. So she tells me that our ceremony starts at 615 and the sun sets at 623. I'm FLIPPING out. Our ceremony is going to start and it will already be dark!!! Needless to say we're not going to get any good pictures with our families on the beach during the daylight hours. Now what?! She said we can move our date up. Which is still a possibility since we haven't sent STDs yet (as luck would have it i ordered them yesterday) so gals, what would you do? i'm stressing now. our deposit is down.. ugh

Especially for that amount. I second this. Also I'm pretty particular as to what I like, but at the same time indecisive.. so i know where you're coming from. As for amount, I'm going to try my hardest to keep it under 1,000. I'm of the notion that it's a 2 day dress (trashing also) so I can't justify spending a bundle on it. Not even going to try on more expensive dresses.

  9. Wow, what a fun place to get married! I agree that a simple flowy dress would look great!
  10. I'm wondering why you ended up with more than one. (aside from if you are getting a second one to trash) Did you end up with 2 because you started shopping too soon and your tastes changed?
  11. we're thinking of doing an activity too. probably a sunset cruise, or maybe a day sail with snorkeling.

We were at Moon Palace. the rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable, food is good and never ending, drinks are always flowing (including don julio!) and that staff were the nicest i've met yet!

  15. i don't know the pink song so i can't give you an answer, but what i did was make a cd of just first dance potentials and listened to them in the morning when i'm half awake and then waited for the one that really got me going.
  16. i love this thread! Joe calls you guys my "online friends" and when i'm on too much he'll say thing like "how are your online friends?" or "talking to your online friends again?" It's turned into a joke around here. When I tell him about something I learned here or what one of you did I'll preface it with "one of my online friends" But he is REALLY glad I found you guys. Otherwise he'd hear it all! oh one more thing. once joe saw something i posted and say over 1,000 posts and was like "whooaaa!! you are on here all day at work too?!" me "duh!"

  18. We're going in either Fri or Sat for our Monday wedding. DOn't want to be there too long because i know i'll end up looking like a lobster if there are too many days before! Then we're going to stay a week + after. And do our "honneymoon" in alaska the next summer
