  1. I think that sounds like a great gift! If you want to fill it up more, you could add a pash from ebay? You can get those for a dollar or two each. And they would fill up the bag
  2. i should have specified more about the boob issue. My issue is that the boob area doens't cover as much as I'd like it too. It's a sweetheart neckline, and it is too low, so really she'd be adding fabric and lace to the top, to make the neckline higher to cover the girls better..... I'm not really a boob showing kind of gal, and def. don't want them out on my wedding day does that change your opinions at all?
  3. So i finally decided on a dress!!! YEEEEEEHHHAWWW here it is: the dress I am wearing in this picture is a size 10. It zips most of the way.. aside from about a half inch. I am still loosing weight and have no doubt that I could fit in this dress. HOWEVER (has to be one doesn't there?!) the boob area of the dress doesn't fit me very well. For once in my life my boobs are too big for something! The seamstress thinks I should order a size up because the bust area will be larger. However, it's pretty much a given that the rest of the dress is going to be too big. She said she can enhance the bust area of the size 10 if I decide that route, or take in the size 12. So which do you think is a better option? Increasing the bust area of the size 10, would be about 50 bucks. But i'm not sure how much it would cost to take in the entire dress if i get a size 12. But then again, I would think it would be easier to take in the 12, than change the entire top of the 10. What would you do?

  7. i'm with you morgan. i would have preferred a white gold ring, but my ring only came in platinum. sometimes i wish we would have had it made in white gold, but at the time i wasn't sure exactly which ring i was getting.

  9. Is there a Jareds near you? I got my wedding band there, it is micro pave, they had some really good options to choose from.
  10. so i finally found a wedding ring that looks awesome with my e ring!!! yeay!! (will post pics on thursday when i get it) anyway, i bought it in white gold.... and my e ring is platinum. The sales guy told us that there isn't an issue with the two different metals being next to each other. and that they both have to be "refinished" but just in different ways. however, I've heard from other jewelers that it's not good to put the different metals next to each other because the white gold with scratch the crap out of the platinum. I told this to the sales guy at Jareds and he said that they tell you this in an effort to sell you a higher cost ring, and that it realy doesn't matter. So we bought the white gold ring. We can always change it to platinum if we want to. Anyway, does any one know what the truth is? Does it matter, or is it really just a sales tactic to get you to buy platium again?

  12. thanks for all of your input!! i went back to the store, again!, today... remember i have OCD about this dress issue! Anyway, I retried on the Maggie and Paloma.... and I think I like the Paloma on me better. For some reason the Maggie dress made me look like I had an a$$ from Arizona to Florida. Not really what I'm looking for on my wedding day ) I also talked to the owner/tailor of the store about the second dress (Paloma) and asked her if it would be possible to cut down the pull ups and made it a little more stream lined. She said yes, and then brought out a dress she had just done this for. Amazing. She pretty much works magic. So I think I'm going with the Paloma... but in white. The one I had on there is a pinkish ivory.
  13. i also wonder if i'll ever get "the feeling". I am "blessed" with a critical eye. bluck
  14. today at the dress shop i really liked #2, but i showed it to my mom and she hated it. she said, and i quote "it looks like your dress fell down, because you are lugging around a sack of potatos (the bottom of the dress) and now your bra is showing (the lace boob part)" gotta love that description for a dress you really liked. then i was bad and forced Joe to look at the picture of the second dress, he liked it. hello, ding dong over here!
  15. my dad is planning to wear khakis and some sort of short sleeved, button up shirt. i'm honestly having the most problem convincing my parents to wear sandals to the wedding! who would have thought that would be our disagreement
  16. sounds high to me. i think mine will be 2000, and joe's will probably be 500
  17. Our dogs are going to go to a Doggie Spa. They get a full day of play and then have their own rooms at night - but since we have 2 they will share a family room and keep each other company. It's not my favorite option, but being in a new city we don't really know that many people yet. Anyone in Phoenix area, I'll trade you pet sitting!
