Now that I have a dress (yeay!) I can finally order shoes! And what girl doesn't love shoe shopping? Anyway, my origional plan was to get white flip flops with rhinestones on them. However my dress is lace. And I will not allow some silly rhinestones to rip up my dress So, I decided that I should wear Teva flip flops, since I basically live in then anyway. So here's the delima. Do I keep it bridal and order the white ones? Or spice it up and get some cute blue ones? And use them as my something blue - however does that work since I'll be walking down the isle bare foot?

So, as you may know FI and I are moving to AZ this week. We haven't done our engagement pics yet, and were planning to wait until spring time and then head out to our old stomping grounds (aka bar where we met!) for some picutres. however, now that we're moving this is going to be much harder. Plus I don't get vacation time at my new job until 6 months in... So, now we're thinking about doing our engagement pics right before the wedding in Mexico. However, I'm not sold on this. I think it would be really fun and they would turn out great, but at the same time I had my heart set on pics of us at out hole in the wall bar. What would you do? Make it work in Mpls or do the Mexico thing?

No. Only Chicago, Michigan and Minneapolis Macy's have bridal salons.

I just wanted to let anyone in MI, IL, and MN know that if you are looking for a place to dress shop, stop at Macy's Bridal salon. My mom and I went today and it was the best experience! We went to a few other places after Macy's and they all sucked in comparison. The sales people are very nice and knowledgeable... not really young girls who try and pressure you into a dress. She totally took my vision and brought out dresses that fit that. And she hit the jackpot right away. The first one I tried on I fell in love with! She put the veil on me and I was like "holy sh*t, I'm a bride!!!" and proceeded to get all giddy. Anyway, it was the best experience and I'd totally recommend that you check them out.

I voted pimp slap just because I couldn't stop laughing at it!!! But really I would just put it in a safe place and keep it special for the wedding day.

Hey we're getting married at LC in November 2008!! I seriously cannot wait. I wish our wedding date would get her faster! My favorite thing about LC, has to be Kelley the WC. I know she's always looking out for the best interest of the bride/groom. And based on all the other BDW brides I know I can just give her an idea of what I want, and she will go with this. This was also really important to me because I don't want a big production of a wedding we're staying at dreams. and anyone that doesn't want to do AI we're suggesting the Marriott CasaMagna. If you're looking at NV, i'd suggest the Palace resort there.

We used travelocity for our trip to moon place for last new years. we all thought it was great and we didn't have a single problem. Joe and I acutally ended up getting upgraded... not sure why! (our friends booked through expedia, which was cheaper from their area, and did not have problems either.) i also used travelocity for our trip to PV. It was great for both of those, and we didn't have a single problem. I've also just booked air through them and it's always been fine.

Thanks girls! No salt and cutting back on carbs! I don't really drink soda so that's not a problem. It's not like I painted the thing on, it's just tight in my ribcage area. Oh and then too big in the boobage area! Funny how that works
