OMFG these people are idiots Quote: Chat InformationPlease wait for a professional assistant to respond. Chat InformationYou are now chatting with 'Josh' Josh: Welcome to SkinStore, how may I help you? you: Hi, this is in regards to order # 1990035 . Yesterday I spoke with a representative (both online and over the phone) you: in regards to the Clairisonic brush that I ordered. Josh: please hold Josh: how may I help you you: I was not aware that the pink version had sold out, so he canceled that order and placed a second order for the white version that he said was in stock. He waived the second shipping charge (I had paid to upgrade to FedEx 2 Day shipping) and told me that the product would be shipped yesterday and I would receive it Thurs. I have yet to receive a confirmation shipping order. If the order has not yet shipped I would just like to cancel this order and go purchase the item at the store. Josh: plese hold Josh: do you have your order number or email you: 1990035 Josh: please holdd Josh: I am sorry that one went on backorder as well. With the sale those items do go really quick. I just spoke with our buyer and the item should be in this week. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you you: I would just like to cancel the order Josh: If you would like I cancel I will, however we should have it shipped this week. I would also be happy to refund your shipping from the first order. you: do you have any idea what day it would ship? is there a chance of them running out again? Josh: We have have enough to cover your order you: so it will ship for sure by friday then? yesterday the guy told me it would be 5-7 days before they would ship Josh: The manufacture told us they were sending a rush delivery. I am guessing worse case would be Monday, and we have you for 2 day shipping you: Ok, just refund the last shipping order and I'll keep this order. If I don't get confirmation by then I will cancel. Josh: okay your shipping had been refunded per your request. I am very sorry the inconvenience, I wish I had thought to copy the guy from yesterday's convo. So frustrating... Grrrrr! I guess word of advice - DO NOT BUY from this place during a sale if it's a hot ticket item! -

Grand Mayan Palace - Nuevo Vallarta

Any questions ask me I think I did a review a while back will look for it...also took pics, if you would like to see. Hey Drea, After reading through all the reviews on Trip Advisor I don't think the Grand Mayan is the way to go for us. I did read a lot about timeshare presentations, but not that it was a "timeshare resort". Anyways, I really think it's better that we stay closer to town if at all possible... Just out of curiosity, how was the Mayan NV? I know Amy is/was getting married at the Mayan in PV (I thought we were going to get married there for awhile) but I thought she was honeymooning at a Mayan in NV... could be wrong about that. -

I spent all day Sunday going through nearly every single hotel thread in the PV section so my mind is a bit dizzy now It does look like a great deal huh! My concerns are as follows: - I've never been to NV. Since we took two site visits down to PV to explore great restaurants and such it would be kind of a shame to stay so far away from the Marina and Downtown areas. - I don't know if there is a good food store (aka inexpensive, to buy breakfast foods, beer/wine/liquor, snacks, etc...) around that is off the hotel grounds. - Also don't know if there are any other restaurants around besides the ones at the hotel (again, fairly expensive yet unique and yummy... ya know, like all the ones down south in PV! ) - Not sure how much longer the boat ride would be to Caletas. I wrote Nicole about this but I just received a map back from her showing where they depart in NV. I will ask her again and report back... I do like the fact that the beaches are better up there and it looks like you might get a little more bang for your buck. Also, I'm thinking maybe those hotels don't book up as quick so we could get a room block... There is another AMAZING hotel up there (Villa La Estancia) that was having some remarkable deals on Expedia. I will post a separate thread on it. Although they do accept kids, they don't look nearly as kid friendly. -
Has anyone stayed here? It looks HUGE but the prices seem reasonable - $185+ tax for a standard room (all rooms come standard with oversized jacuzzi) or $265+tax for a suite with separate King bedroom w/jacuzzi and full sized kitchen w/ granite counters and your own private "plunge pool" on the terrace/balcony. They also have 2 bedroom suites. It looks like a great place for families with kids. It reminds me a lot of the Maya/Lindo in the Riviera Maya... huge and sprawling, long walk to the beach, nice rooms though and great for kids/families.. On the grounds they have a wave pool, lazy river, kiddie water park, slides, tons of pools, etc... 9 miles North of the Airport and 20 mins away from downtown (according to the website)

Are your BM paying for .......
JaimeLynne replied to JODEY's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Like other girls have said, here in the US it's customary to pay for your own dress if you are a BM. However, as we all know - with DWs tradition goes out the window. I was going to pay for our BMs dresses but then decided that might not be the best idea - what if some of them cancel? Instead we are thinking of paying for an extra night in the hotel for each of them (there are 4 + 2 GM). We can announce that after we see who will really end up booking, and won't waste any money. It may seem cheap upfront but I'm hoping in the end they'll see that we were thinking of them afterall. -
That was hard! I love the colors and the image in #8 so that's what I went for

Clarisonic Skin Care Brush & other product questions.
JaimeLynne replied to JaimeLynne's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
This has been a little more complicated than I thought. I received a shipment confirmation from SkinStore.com today saying that they had shipped 1 item (the Kinerase lotion). Knowing that I had paid upgraded 2 day FedEx shipping I figured they would be sending both items out together, so I got online with a representative and they said the Clairisonic was sold out and on backorder and that it would take 5-7 days before it would be ready to ship out! Grrrr. Well, I had purchased the pink one since it donates $10 to Breast Cancer Awareness. After a couple times of asking the same question I finally got a reply that they had 6 of the regular white ones in stock, so I asked if I could have that one shipped instead. They said they don't do exchanges so I could cancel my first order and then place a new order for the white one but have to pay for upgraded shipping again on the newly ordered item (having already paid it once to ship the Kinerase)!!! Btw, it did not say on their site that either is sold out. Apparently their server takes 24-48 hours to get things straight. I told them that this was frustrating and why should I pay another $9 simply because their server doesn't update in a timely manner? Finally the guy told me if I called it in over the phone he would waive the shipping fee. All said and done, it got straightened out and I am still getting my Clairisonic for $156 instead of $195 + tax, and it is supposed to arrive on Thursday -

Sweet - I just ordered the Clarisonic + my old lotion that I like (Kinerase) with upgraded 2 day FedEx shipping for just a little more than I would have paid for just the Clairisonic + tax -

Yeah, it was invented by the same people who introduced Sonicare. I found a 20% off + free shipping coupon when you purchase from SkinCare.com (Ends tomorrow July 8th!) With the coupon it comes out to $156 total. That's the best deal I've found yet - I think I'll get it! Here's a link to the coupon/code : Clarisonic -
Just wondering if any of y'all have used this product. I got a facial last week (horrible experience, but I won't go there...) and she used this on me. It didn't feel too rough for my sensitive skin and the lady recommended it for my oily/sensitive skin to clear out my pores daily. I almost choked at the price though - it's $195 w/o tax! I saw some knock offs today at Walgreens and almost purchased one but decided to go home and read the reviews. They were not good, but the Clarisonic seems to be receiving steady good reviews. So, I'm thinking about purchasing one. It's a lot of money, but would be worth the investment if it works! I need to do something about my skin (it's been breaking out lately). I drink tons of water, take fish oil & a multi. Granted I've been stressed to the max lately so I think that's adding to my breakouts. I'm also looking for a good rejuvenating serum and moisturizer. I would love to get products like this that I can purchase at my local drugstore. However, I do have access to a Sephora at our mall. I was using Kinerase Clear Skin Light (I think that's what it's called) which worked wonderfully but was $75 for 1.7 oz! When I asked the lady at Sephora what she would recommend she pointed out a lotion that was slightly less $ (about $40 for 1.3-1.4oz, brand is Cosmedicine "Medi-Matte"). It works wonderfully at making my face matte but it feels thick and makeup doesn't seem to work well with it (odd since she said it's also used as a makeup primer...). You can return products to Sephora if you don't like them, right? I think I am going to take that one back if I can... maybe I'll put the $ towards the Clarisonic!

I was proposed to on my 24th birthday. We dated 2 years before that, and decided to have a semi-long engagement of 2 years. We will be getting married about 2 weeks shy of my 26th birthday.

We've been twice in the last year - once in December (the week before Xmas) and once in May. They were soooo much nicer right before Christmas! We had a cabbie drive us from the Westin to Le Kliff and he was so awesome we almost named our puppy after him! LOL He drove us out there but made us stop at Los Arcos and somewhere else so that he could take our pics and made sure we didn't miss beautiful sunset photo ops. Then on the way back he drove us all over town showing us the city. And, the best yet - apparently he had won some singing competition so we told him to sing for us. He totally belted it out on the way home, and he was good too! Add margaritas into that story and it was a riot. Definitely one of our fav PV moments Ok Sounds like overall your stay at the RDC was good. Glad to hear that, and like Jamy said it is always good to hear different hotel reviews!!! -
I had a bad burn earlier this summer and my massage therapist put this stuff on it... but I can't remember the name of it! She is an "all-natural" kind of lady... hmmm, I think she said it had collagen in it. That's about all I can remember - sorry

And then she had the nerve to talk down to me like it was my fault for having oily/sensitive skin!? I literally wanted to sit up and smack her. UGH ANYYYYWAYS after all her little comments under her breath about how clogged my pores are, etc. she told me I really need products that are strictly for oily and sensitive skin. Of course they wanted to sell me products that, for example, were $95 for a moisturizer! That said, I marched over to Sephora and the girl there was soooo helpful. I was using Kinerase lotion but it is $75/bottle. She steered me towards one that is $40-45. Much better but still pricey. It helps to "matify" your skin and reduce oils. It feels a little heavy though (might be the spf in it). She also gave me some samples of other brands for a cleanser, restoring serum and alpha hydroxy exfoliating pads. Oh and some samples of a foundation that I really didn't care for. The others are nice but I'd love to find cheaper alternatives!! I will go check this brand out and let y'all know what I find for those of us with oily skin...
