  1. Amanda, As far as envelopes go, I have yet to get any but I am thinking I will probally use the bubble-wrap lined postal envelopes. I am affraid of the starfish breaking if I use regular envelopes. PM me your email address and I will send it to you. Overall I felt that they were really easy but a bit time consuming. I only had to make 15 or so, which didn't take up a whole lot of time.
  2. Wonderful news!! Thanks for posting. This is what my TA sent me this afternoon: Good News! Hurricane Dean has passed over the Yucatan Peninsula. While there was heavy wind and rain, early reports are that roads remain open. There are no reports of major structural damage in any of the resort areas. By tomorrow (Wednesday 8/22), we expect travelers to be enjoying the sunshine again.
  3. Tammy, I have no idea of what you are looking for but my mom gave me a catalog for a company called Domestications. They seem to have good prices. Another place to check is JCPenny online. Sometimes you can find things there.
  4. Michelle, you can create your own logo and use it. Here is the link: VistaPrint Shirts

  6. Hey there! I just got the email about the free tee and I am planning on ordering one today. I am assuming they will continue to do the free tee offer. I started ordering from them a month or so ago and I have received the free tee offer twice now. As far as them stopping it once you order, I doubt that will happen. The emails they send are mass emails and I doubt the will pick and choose who receives it or not. I have ordered magnets and business cards from them and continue to receive offers for more free ones. What are yoy thinking about getting printed on them?
  7. That is an awsome gesture!! Now only if they would be so kind as return LisaG's $1500!!! Right Lisa?

With my health being so unpredictable, I wanted to get as much done this summer as I could.
  9. Thanks guys!! I appreciate all of you comments!! I thought they came out better than I had planned. I had every intention of these being my STD's and then sending another invite but I decided I didn't want to spend the time or the money on more invites. I figured since it was a destination wedding we didn't have to have facny, formal invites Quote: Originally Posted by chprfan Those look great...I love the starfish attached to them!! It is just a matter of cutting out each page of the boarding pass and then cutting out the envelope and pasting it together! I just sent you an email!
  10. Hey Rachel, Yea, I am just throwing them in together. I have emailed our guests updated info about the trip 2 or 3 times now so we pretty much have an idea of who is interested in going and who is not. We have a pretty small group (21 guests) so I decided to go with a less formal invite and just make the magnets. Tami, If you PM me your email address I can share the template. I made 25 of these. I printed the 5 page boarding pass on white card stock, which used 1 2/3 sheets of card stock. I then printed the "envelopes" on blue card stock, printing one side and then flipping it over to print the reverse side (the interior side has dotted lines to show you where to fold it). I then wrapped with the raffia and then hot-glued the starfish. To get the rounded corners I just went and bought a corner punch at Hobby Lobby. You can find them in the scrapbooking section at Michaels and JoAnn Fabrics.
  11. I went round and round with what type of invites and STD's I wanted to do. I decided to just make boarding pass invites and include a magnet from Vista Print for a STD. After lots of hard work, a template and some help from Jessica, here they are: Thanks again Jessica for sharing your template!!
  12. You can also order a catalog to be sent to you, which I found to be a bit easier. It is a bit time consuming to "look" through everything on their site but it is worth it in the end. I have ordered a few times and have been very satisfied.

  15. Lisa, did your room have a jacuzzi? I am trying to figure out which rooms have them. Right now we just booked a deluxe garden view and plan to upgrade when we arrive. Just looking for suggestions of a nice and romantic room.
  16. Fannie, Please post a review when you return and take as many pics as you can!!
  17. Great job Amanda!! I am just finishing up my invites and will be posting them soon as well!
  18. WOW Shelley!! They look fantastic!! Did you print them yourself? GREAT JOB!! Also, where did you find the boxes?
  19. I plan to have our reception at El Patio. I am glad to hear you liked the location Jason and Lisa! Also, Lisa, what did your guests do for alcohol at this location? Is there a bar very close or did they set-up a bar for you? We are planning on purchasing the Dreams Ultimate package and the gold menu says it includes a welcome bar. I was just curious about this. I do not want to have to walk 10 minutes away everytime we need a refill
  20. I came across this dress while shopping online at Victoria's Secret. I am not sure how dressy you are looking for but this may be an option. I am also looking for pink BM dresses and they prefer it to not be strapless. Here's the link: Victoria's Secret - Halter sundress
