  1. Hi guys! I was screwing around with the Vistaprint postcards and am debating on whether or not I will make these into our STD's. The only problem is I am not familiar with Photoshop. I somehow managed to figure out the front of our postcards, I just need a template or something easy to plug in our info for the backside of it. Is there anyone who has one?
  2. Thanks Laura!! I was thinking maybe I should call her... BTW how much does it cost to call there?
  3. Is anyone else having a really hard time contacting the WC? I emailed her twice now and have not heard back... frustrating!
  4. Yay Ann!! Congrats!! I hope you have a wonderful day! Can't wait to hear how everything went and see pics!!
  5. Thanks for posting these ideas Courtney! We should also include alternative for the RSVP such as Heading to the islands or stuck mainland Toes in the sand or ________________

I plan to try to work on a few more logo's tomorrow... wish me luck!
  7. I plan to mail these boxes, I just haven't decided how yet. The original invite box has an adhesive strip to keep it shut, which is the light blue below, with an address label on that: You could also do this with a wide ribbon wrapped around with the ends adhered to one another, keeping the box shut.
  8. I came across this website with these boxes: MainStreetPackaging.com - White Swirl Jewelry Box #75 7 x 5 x 1 - 50/cs They are $21.80 for a case of 50 and then $13.20 for shipping, which comes to $.70 per box. I only need 20 and was wondering if anyone wanted to go in on a case. Let me know if you're interested!
  9. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!! I came across these boxes here: MainStreetPackaging.com - White Swirl Jewelry Box #75 7 x 5 x 1 - 50/cs The only thing is they come in a case of 50 for $21.80. I personally need 20 so I was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to split a case of 50. They are 7"x5"x1". Please let me know if you are interested!!

Monika, try looking for "woven grass paper". This is the description of the invite the original designer gave me: "For this invitation as pictured the cost is $12.25 each. That price includes invitation printed on metallic card stock backed with a woven grass paper and a second metallic card stock backing. The invite is wrapped with an iridescent dot vellum wrap and finished with a real starfish and waxed thread. Also included in this price is an rsvp backed in metallic card stock with coordinating metallic envelope and a white box for mailing along with adhesive strip." I found a few places online, unfortnately I have a doctor's appt. I have to get to fast, but I will help you look when I return.

  12. Thanks for the suggestions Jess! What size boxes did you buy? Their invites are 5x7. The good thing is I have LOTS of time to work on them this summer before I start the nursing program!
  13. I would be interested in ordering 30 or so if you guys are interested in going in on a group order. Now the big question is what color works best for all of us?
  14. Yay Tammy and Cain!!! Can't wait to hear how everything went and see the pics! Congrats!!
  15. Julie, I just plan on using real ones ordered from Ebay. Another kicker to the original invites: THEY WANT $30 FOR A SAMPLE!!

With that in mind, if someone is selling these things, they can't be that bad. Just wanted to let you know of the troubles I've had. (I'm using mine for placecards holders) I know someone else posted about mailing boxes. Sorry I'm not sure where the link is. I am running into the same issue with some other starfish I bought. Let me know if you find something that works!! Heidi and Courtney and everyone else, Thanks a bunch!! Courtney, can you believe that price!! They were 12.25 each and then an additional $25 because I did not have an order over 50, so it came out to $331 for 25, NOT INCLUDING the extra postage I will be paying! Julie, I will let ya know if I decide to go with these or not. They can't be THAT hard, right?
  17. I just came across these invites and I LOVE them!! The only down fall is that they are $12.25 each and it would cost me almost $350 for 25 of them! I am now on a mission to find everything I need and make them myself. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the boxes to ship them in?
  18. I emailed Sandra twice in almost the past 2 weeks and STILL have not heard back. Have all of you been to see this resort? We are really considering it but have been seeing a consistant stream of bad reviews. I was just hoping you guys could offer some insight. What do you like best about it, what do you not like? Are there a lot of kids running around, ect.
  19. Thanks for posting Courtney! I really like this resort, especially since it is a sister resort to Secrets, our first choice, but I am really worried about the reviews I have been reading on Trip Advisor as well as on the Dreams forum! This picking a resort stuff is stressing me out!
  20. That was my exact thought, I didn't think many people would use them again. For this price, they can do whatever with them after.
  21. I ordered the same fans Angela and was also shocked by the difference in the sizes. I thought I had mistakenly ordered a variety package of multiple sizes. Thanks for posting your fans, they look great so far!!
