  2. I know some brides on here had issues with WIP but I don't know anything specific about Katie Thompson. Try doing a search for Weddings in Paradise and see if there are any reviews. Hopefully she will do an amazing job on your wedding.

  4. I'd be lying if I said I was doing well. Saturday I went to a babyshower where there was homemade desserts. Horrible to my diet, just horrible! Then I went out this weekend and drank like a fish. Then after a night of boozing I went to the diner where I stuffed my face with a cheeseburger and cheese fries. We are talking a billion calories. Then Sunday I went to a mother's day party and stuffed my face there. It just keeps getting worse. And the really atrocious part of it all is that I haven't been to the gym since Wednesday. The scale may break when I step on it on wednesday.
  5. It gets easier as time goes by. I always wake up with cramps and having to pee. But I'm also crazy and I let the tea seap for like 10 minutes (sometimes more when I forget). So it always helps move things along. Its the best feeling to feel empty!
  6. Okay for the girls with skin/acne problems: I met this lawyer who told me that she had terrible atrocious acne, and she had the pics to prove it. Proactive did not work for her but she started on this line of skincare called ARBONE that is especially good for sensitive skin. So you guys should check it out. I think its a little pricey but hey if it works why not! Hope this helps someone out. Okay Drea for the flabby arms you can do lots of arm exercises. You can do the obvious free weight bicep curls, tricep extension. You don't have to use heavy weights you just have to try to fatigue your muscles. Try doing dips on a chair or a bench if you go to the gym. Using your own body weight you slowly dip down. Can you do push ups? This gets arms pretty toned as well. Also the Windsor pilates for upper arms is great. It uses light weights but does the exercises in such a manner that your arms kill. Let me know if you want any arm exercises I'll give them to you. Okay for the girls with thigh problems. This is an especially hard area to tone for women. Especially since a lot of it has to do with genetics. But you can try some exercises. Obviously doing cardio to shed some of the fat is a good step. Toning wise, you can do the abductor and the adductor machine (or the slut machines as my FI calls them). For those of you who don't know what I'm referring to, its the weight machine where you press your thighs together and then open them up. You I have toned my thighs significantly by doing the following exercises: 1. I do the adductor machine: 3 sets of 12 reps in each set 2. I do the abductor machine: 3 sets of 12 reps in each set 3. I do plies: 3 sets of 12 reps in each set 4. I do squats: 3 sets of 12 reps in each set 5. I do lunges: 3 sets (right and left leg) of 12 reps in each set I started using a 8 pound weight and then increased it to 10 pounds the second week and then 12 pounds the third week. I would hold the freeweight pounds in my hand whil doing each of these exercises (except for the machines which have their own weight) Hope this helps!

  9. Ok I was thinking we could start a thread and talk about our problem areas. Not only to vent about it but maybe we can help each other out. For example one of us may have a good tip or exercise to tone that specific part of the body. Okay I'll start. I cannot get rid of the my back fat. It is so gross and no matter how much weight I lose, it just sits there, underneath my bra, staring at me and tormenting me. I also cannot for the life of me tone my gut.

No wonder these people look so good they spend all day at the gym. I get home at 9 and head straight to the gym. As it is I go to bed by 12 midnight each day. I can't even imagine a life where I spent four hours at the gym a day.

  13. Honestly though can they really afford 18 college tuitions? I think the mom is a stay at home mom right? So unless the dad is a trillionaire I don't think that's happening. And it seems like all the kids are ever doing is chores. Tons of laundry to do. It takes forever just to do James and my laundry, I can't even imagine what it would be like to do laundry for 20 people. Its complete insanity. Honestly if I saw that women on the street I would hand her a condom. Enough is enough already. Menopause needs to pay that women a visit.
  14. I've been doing horrible. I did well on Wednesday then I got really stressed yesterday and I ate everything in my path. Not good at all. Now today I just got off the phone with a rude, nasty women from Surrogate's court and I caved and ate Thai food. Once I fall off the wagon its so hard to get back on track. AHHHHH!! But I'm going to go the gym today no matter what. I need to get back on track!
  15. Ok I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I find this to be ridiculous. Even if they can afford all their children, we are severely overcrowded and the fact that they just keep popping out kids is too much for me. I mean really! Sheesh!

  18. OMG Shelley she is just like the evil sisters. They do the same thing if someone parks on the street by their house. Ummm hello its town property not yours, anyone can park there! Your neighbor sounds awful just like the evil twins. You could make something for her and put visine in it. Apparently it gives you bad stomach cramping and the runs. I would break into her house and replace her shampoo with Nair. You could also emit terrible odors through her vent, she'll never know where they are coming from. Put gravel in her gas tank. Conveniently steal her mail so she doesn't get her bills. Etc.
  19. Shelley I am not trying to highjack but these sisters that live down the block are the same way as your neighbor. They call the town on every little thing. They are a nightmare and make everyone's lives a living hell. People try to get back at them but they can't b/c these sisters are so crafty that they are never violating anything. And they harass people to the point where they know its legal. This woman sounds awful and she will find a way to get everything for you ruined. If your garage is taller than your house you might be technically violating some town ordinance or something. So the bitch one upped you and is probably going to get it tore down. I would ruin this women's life. RUIN IT! I'm sure Lauren and I can come up with plenty of immature things to do to this woman. Rocks in her gas tank, letting your dog take a shit on her lawn, etc. People like this need to be stopped!
  20. This is awesome news and I couldn't be any happier for all the EDR brides. Thank you to Tammy who always looks out for her brides and thank you to all the brides who stuck together and stood up for what they believed in. YAY!!

  22. You know which place I really love (not that I've ever been there) is the Excellence Resort at Playa Mujeres. Its all inclusive, it has that luxurious room you want and it seems just beautiful! Maybe you should look into this and see if it is something you would like. Good luck with whatever decision you make and remember that its your day.
  23. I wasn't able to go with just the fiber I had to wait a full day of tea and then fiber before I was able to go. So maybe once you guys get the tea in your system and then wake up tomorrow you'll get more BM. I went again today but it seems like I can't get the gist of what time I go. I keep going at all different times. My system is all wacky. I am also not doing the toxinout, just the colonix.
  24. Oh yeah like Lauren said be careful with dressing. I learned my lesson the hardway with this. Its best to get dressing on the side or buy your own fat free dressing to add to salads (they usually have 15 calories per 2 tablespoons as opposed to 150 calories per 2 tablespoons in regular dressing)
