  1. from one MN gal to another, my thoughts are with you! we'll all be thinking of you - hurry up and get better, and stop back in! we'll be waiting!
  2. hello Andrea! i'm so sorry to hear about your dad. but i am happy for all of the positive changes in your life ... it sounds so exciting! i'm glad you popped back in too - we miss you! hang in there, girl - we're here for you!

  4. wow - congrats, Karla! i'm done with invites for a while (yay) but will keep you in mind, for sure. how exciting! how is it going so far?
  5. i certainly drank enough - you'd think i knew! pretty sure they had Modelo too (sp?)
  6. welcome, LaKesha! let us know how we can help.
  7. i like #2 ... LOVE the bodice! i only voted for #2 cuz i am personally not a fan of color in dresses - but that's just me, otherwise i really like them both!

But, at home, I don't think I'd ever use it. Especially since my computer screen saver flashes through all the photos. So, in conclusion, I don't think I helped you at all! Sorry! this is kind of how i feel - i'd be a little indifferent, but it seems i'm definitely in the minority. i'm not sure i'd really use it at home - but maybe once i got it all working, i'd really like it.
  9. i had a bridesmaid dress altered a few months ago, it had 3 layers and i paid about $95. i am guessing i could have had it done cheaper - but didn't have time to shop around. this was at a dry cleaners/alterations place - so seems like a similar scenario
  10. oohhh - a very flattering dress i can't wait to see YOU in it!
  11. i had 2 dresses as well ... the 2nd one for the TTD i got at David's Bridal for $99 a couple days before we left for the wedding! I also have a JCrew one for sale for $99
  12. Paul got his wedding band from a local Irish store here in St. Paul, MN - it's a long story, but he originally ordered it from this online store (My Irish Jeweler), but it never came - and they kept promising it to him. But here's the picture - just DON'T order from this site! he gets so many compliments on it!
  13. from what i can tell from the picture - they look great! you'll have to get more pics so we can see the rest
  14. you guys look like you had so much fun!

LuckyLambert? not bad ...
  16. congratulations! i haven't been on all weekend - so when i logged on and saw this in the shoutbox, i have to find THIS thread ... i'm so happy for you two!
  17. (i fixed the spelling for ya!) i love the loose curls - perfect for a beach wedding!
  18. i think most any jewelry store will give you an appraisal when you buy the ring so it's probably in your binder

  20. we registered at Macy's and Crate & Barrel - you could do all 3! we struggled to find enough stuff at both, but if you're registering for all the traditional stuff, you should be able to pull off 3
  21. i just have my rings (and other jewelry) on the same policy as my homeowners - it's like Allied Insurance or something
