  1. Ok, I've emailed the Pash Man (not sure what else to call him!) and placed the order. I don't know how long he usually takes to get back to you (was it pretty quick, Maria?) - but I will keep you all updated!
  2. i've seen this done many different ways - and i think what you're talking about doing would look really nice!
  3. OMG - I got chills reading that - how special! what an unexpected surprise.
  4. i've heard "not so great" things about shipping to Mexico. it may get there, it may not. so just have that mindset if you really want to ship - just don't ship anything you can't live without. and DHL is the way to go!

  6. if you're going somewhere that lets you take pictures - do it! some girls rethink the dresses once they see themselves in a picture. oh, and i second an earlier comment ... don't try it on if it's not in your price range!
  7. see - what i would order for dessert (i chose carrot cake) changes daily. does that mean i have multiple personalities!? lol
  8. my ring is platinum, and his is a white gold w/some celtic knot design - they totally don't match at all and we didn't even thing about them matching. he knew he wanted a ring w/an irish influence, and i didn't.
  9. i'd also suggest checking out these threads: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ting-trip.html http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...to-aceves.html http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...s-pv-area.html
  10. it might help if you let us know roughly what your budget is. what price range are you hoping to stay in? i would totally recomend my photographer, Leigh Miller. i don't have her 2008 pricing info, but i think she starts somewhere around $4000 for destination weddings - but i honestly have no idea, it might be higher. here is my slideshow (I don't have my pics yet) Darkroom SlideShare
  11. ... not to mention finding something to do with all of that $$ you just saved!
  12. hey - at least it sounds like you're having fun.

  14. you guys spend a lot of $$ !
  15. tough thing about traiadvisor - or any other rating site - often, people only go there to bitch. so take it all w/a grain of salt! hopefully the girls here will be able to provide you with a little insight.

It's all a big conspiracy I tell you!!!!!! well if i am involved in this conspiracy, i did a poor job of negotiating! i never win the weekly lottery ... just sarah. i need to talk to me fellow comspirators!
  17. ohh fun - i want to play mine: "i ate a hottie because life is too short" hmmm - take that how you want! paul's: "I stole an easter egg because I'm good in bed" well now i really want to know what he's planning on doing with that easter egg!
  18. funny - that's all i was going to say, is add a sheer runner to the table and you've got the look! beautiful, btw. and like the ones w/the ribbon if you want to add more orange to the setting. otherwise the non-ribbon ones are more simply beautiful. hope that made sense!
  19. bride-to-be ... Maria (MikkiStreak) - she put together that huge Pash order for everyone, and negotiated a great rate! newlywed ... hmmm, Anny - she had SOOO many great ideas and shared them all!
  20. congrats, and welcome! let us know how we can help
  21. love that idea - though i can't offer any suggestions for a book. we just did the photo mat for people to sign - then we will put a wedding photo (of the group maybe?) in it to hang
  22. welcome! i'm a PV bride, more specifically - Las Caletas. have you narrowed it down to what you're looking for, or the site yet? we're here - let us know how we can help!
