Well I only lost .01 but it is better than a gain and I had a really bad week!! Everyone is doing so great!! don't you wish we could lose 5-6 or more pounds a week like the biggest loser contestants!!! I guess they probably have way more weight to lose and get to work out all day long!!! Well keep up the good work ladies, and thanks for keeping me motivated....

Keep it up everyone - I know the ups are sooo frustrating (so sorry, Alyssa sad.gif ) but in the end, it will all be worth it - you're all getting healthier, and looking better!
OOps I forgot.... we've been busy looking at new cars. My nerves have been at an all time high. hah it kind of reminds me of the few days before the wedding!

i am sorry i have not been around. i have had a bad cold since last Tuesday. I have not had a voice since Sunday. Anyway, I gained 1 lb, not bad considering it was my birthday week and Easter. Alyssa, I am so glad that you did not gain 6 lbs. That would have been one more thing for you to get stressed about!

Hi girls and congratulations to all those who lost. For those that didn't, like I say every Wednesday...today is a new day. Gotta leave the past behind and keep moving forward. I lost 5.6 pounds this week. I swear I have never felt so happy in my life. I guess my frosting incident didn't mess me up too bad. Here are some of the things I have changed which have helped me to lose some weight.

B/c I can't bring my own lunch (I'm a lawyer and I spend all morning in court and my food would go bad if I brought it with me) I have to rely on outside food. Not the healthiest choice but I have no other. So I usually eat salad from the Pizzeria. Well they put a balsalmic vinagrette dressing on their salads. I used to order it on the side b/c they literally drench the salad in the dressing.

Well one day I decided to ask how many calories were in their dressing. It turns out there is 120 calories per 2 tablespoons! OMG I almost passed out! No wonder I wasn't really losing much. So I went to the supermarket and bought my own fat free dressing that is 15 calories per 2 tablespoons and now I order the salad plain and put my own dressing. It helped me lose a lot of weight this week.

Also instead of regular sushi rolls I eat brown rice ones now. I don't eat any white rice or white bread. Only brown rice and whole wheat bread. And I learned to portion my meals better. Protein the size of the palm of your hand and 1/2 a cup of cooked rice per meal. I try to eat starches only once a day.

I exercise 5 times a week. 1 hour of cardio, no weights.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
