I am getting married Jan 19 2011 at Riu Ocho Rios. It feels like it is so far away but I know it will be here sooner than I think. Just over 7 months to go. Still so much to do but at least my dress has been ordered.

Yay! I am a 2011 bride. June 2011. I will be doing a Carnival cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. So excited! I am in the beginning of my planning so, I have not got much accomplished yet.

We are just starting to plan a DW in St Thomas!! We are going there this August to check it out. I was thinking of having it August 2011!! When do you think the earliest I could send out the save the dates?? I want to give everyone ample time to plan ya know? Is October appropriate? Does anyone know when the flights would be released?

TaraBinki I would send out your STD's ten months to a year in advance. That's pretty typical. I would say if you sent yours anywhere from august to October you would be good to go. Travel pricing usually comes out a year in advance.

so i m trying to think to myself as to when to send out the actual invites to the wedding. i am getting married july 8th 2011, and have sent out save the dates. so how much in advance do u send out invites for a destination wedding?

when we sent the std's out, we put the date of the wedding, but didnt really state what week ppl should be booking off work.

i have not booked with a travel agent yet. have started speaking to one.

so when is when? lol
