Do you have any of the contact info for Mexico incase they try to BS with you since technically your payment is due even though it's no way your fault that it's not turned in? I don't know the PDC manager's email (It's Zulma right ladies?) since I'm at Royal Cancun, but I just CC'd the manager in Cancun my emails to the Michigan girls just so they knew how dang frustrating they are! Paty and Lorena in Cancun have helped me out tremendously now. I hope they get on the ball for you.
i e-mailed angie again two days ago and copied carole cohen, who i believe is one of the managers as well. absolutely no response. when i get home from work today, i think i'll just call and get someone (anyone) to help me. i'm desperate at this point! i don't understand how they keep their jobs if they can't keep up with even getting checklists and payments in on time! there's NO WAY i'll be ready to make my final payment tomorrow if something big doesn't happen! it would be an absolute miracle.

RIGHT!! I know what you mean!! That was my biggest complaint to the Mexico offices. How did they expect me to pay this huge amount if I had absolutely nothing planned. I mean I didn't even know what I was going to be serving at the reception dinner up until a week ago!

I mean it's just crazy how the Michigan girls conduct business. And when I was trying to get someone else to help me cause Angie would go weeks without responding to me, they would all tell me "she's my manager, I can't take over a file from my manager" Well then tell her to do something! She really makes me mad cause of untrue things she said but whatever. Another story LOL.

Yeah try their phone lines would be your next option. Every time I tried calling the line was busy or she was always "out of the office" and when I could talk to her on the phone she was rude and would give me like one word answers. :/ She's just not a cool person to deal with!smile27.gif

i generally have tried e-mailing because i want to have the contents of our discussions in writing. i did, however, call last week and i spoke with her. i was amazed that i seemed to hear irritation in her voice at having to take a phone call. i tried being suuuper nice to her but she was pretty cold during the whole conversation. amazing. AND it took her 3 days after that to get back to me regarding space for a beach reception. argh.

 

i'll update you all tomorrow on what i am able to get accomplished (hopefully that's not too optimistic to think that i might actually make some progress). i'll take any prayers, luck, chi, karma, whatever - send it all my way. i'll need it all!

Jesmcan - I'm having Fernando come to do my hair and makeup and i just had to pay the Vendor fee because the day pass only gets them access to the Resort and not into your room. Thats why u have to pay the vendor fee so they can go in your room.. sucks!

Yes I am the same on wanting nothing but emails so I understand not wanting to rely on phone calls. You need everything by them in writing!!

Hope things go better tomorrow! It's ridiculous that you're stressing about your wedding because the Michigan girls can't do their jobs!!

I heard from her today. I think she was out of the office, not sure. But I had sent her two e-mails a couple of days apart and she actually responded to both of them today. So I think she was playing catch up. She's usually very prompt by sending emails a day or two later, though.

Those are really nice & elegant! I think they'll look great, if you decide to do that.

I was thinking of the separate room thing, but FI didn't really want to. Plus they don't even have any open rooms the Friday nite before our wedding!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
