Hey guys! So I ordered my STD as a magnet with out picture. Ill add it as soon as I get the proof in my email. I was just wondering, for those of you who did the magnets, did u add in another paper or card or anything with more information? our magnet will have our wedding website, but i was thinking of adding a more person letter explaining the destination wedding, where, travel agent info, and also something along the lines of letting us know if they were planning on attending in person or in spirit.. whether it be let us on know on our site, or on the phone, email, etc... what do you think?

i did add an insert along with the magnet. i got the large magnets from Vista - and then i bought the Avery matte finish postcard paper from Staples (or something) - it was the perfect size, the same size as the magnet. i just put my TA's info on there, a blurb about how we wanted them to book quickly, and all that stuff.

We attached our magnet to a printed piece of cardstock with info on it. The card had our website and instructed guests to visit our it for more information on travel and the wedding.

Once they were done, I realized that I should've included some information for folks without internet access so I printed up a "Things to Know" card on some really cute paper that included our Travel Agents number and a little about how a passport is needed to travel to Mexico.

I posted pics on another thread...I'll see if I can find it...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
