I definitely agree with what has already been said -- go for the veil! If you are concerned about cost if you are only going to wear the veil for pictures, there are some threads on here with ebay and etsy sellers of veils for a good price!

This is a great idea. I found Savetheveil.com and another shop on etsy called HandmadeUSA. I just decided to wear a veil but was concerned about the wind. Thus is a perfect solution. Thanks!

Not sure if I will do a veil or not.... I was thinking maybe a birds cage veil with a flower...once I find "the dress" I guess it'll be easier to picture

Veil! You can git the bottom weighted as to not have it blow around in the wind! They are so flattering

Somebody said to me "this is the only chance in your life to wear a veil", and that stuck with me, so I think even if I don't wear it during the ceremony, i will still get one for the pics.

I've always imagined myself wearing a veil, so I'm going to purchase the veil weights and hope it works!

I love him & he loves me, we'll be married by the sea.

My mom really wants me to wear a veil but I've always liked birdcage veils more. I think I'm going to take both and see how I feel that day and how windy it is. And definitely for photo props

I'm not wearing one because of the wind and that they are ridiculously expensive for what they are. If you dare to make your own you can always make one for the pictures. That way if it's not perfect it's ok because no one will notice. You could also maybe ask one of your already-married friends if you can borrow theirs.
