I just picked my dress up!
Don't mind the camera - I couldn't find the timer setting on my camera so I had to do it with the mirror.
I am freaking out! I am having second thoughts with this dress, I almost feel like I don't like it anymore!! It makes me look very bottom heavy. Definitely looks better on the model than on me. But it's too late now. It's done and paid for. It's still pretty, I just don't feel as gorgeous as I thought I would.

I think you look amazing and not bottom-heavy at all. maybe your mom or friends could take a bunch of pics of you from different angles so you can see how great it looks (and how wonderfully it will photograph)! I think once you have new views and all the perfect accessories, you'll feel as beautiful as you imagined. : )

Here is a picture of my dress I bought a few weeks ago! I really love it but I think I'm going to chop off the train.

I don't think it looks bottom heavy at all...but it seems like there's a lot more material on the bottom in comparison to the model picture. Have you already had it altered? Maybe they could help if you wanted it to fit a little closer? A good alteration expert can do wonders. Also, just a thought, but I think this dress would look amazing with some kind of crystal/beaded sash or belt- something to give a little extra detail to the waist. Good luck!

Hazel- How are you planning to wear your hair on the wedding day? That can totally change how you look overall, especially if you are adding a veil or hair accessories.

I love it, and the train, but i understand where you are coming from...i may shorten mine a bit too...
QUESTION--When you get your dressed hemmed, mine is way to long, does that take length off the train to or just the front?
