I actually brought over empty tequila bottles(so I don't have to deal with the weight and spilling or breakage) and the wedding coordinators got me bottles of tequilas from the resort bar to fill them up. no cost:) very nice of them. Just one thing though, the labels were printed on avery clear label sheets, they looked very nice, but the moment a drop of tequila got on them..the words came right off!!!we had to be so careful when we were filling them up..:) hope that helps.

Awesome, thanks! Don't know why I never thought of bringing empty bottles but that is definitely what I will do!! :)

Beautiful! From one orange DB to another! You did great.  I especially love the drawing from your son! Great way to incorporate him!

WOW! That's what I call serious DIY dedication! :) You did a wonderful job on everything! I'm curious to know how did you ship it all? Did you have any trouble going through customs?

I shipped most thru Fedex..and they made me pay an extra 80 dollars when it got to the resort..:(

If I had to do it again, I would bring it myself..beacuse customs went thru my package and messed up and opened my first aid kit and mask even though they were all in see thru bags. Ridiculous..i spent a day fixing them.

So even of i had problems with customs at the airport, at least i can see what they are doing and explain.

and no, i did not have any trouble at the airport with the rest of the wedding stuff.. they see a lot of brides i guess..they know the stuff i had was for a wedding:)

How did you make the felt balls?  They're SO cute.  Do you think it would work with a different fabric, maybe tulle?  Thanks!

Amazing! You are so creative and crafty :). I especially love the wedding program illustrated by your son and the tequila favors.

Were the bottles just normal empty bottles and then you filled them with tequila? Look the labels!
