Just an addition here- for CANADIANS, I just checked this: http://embamex.sre.g...rticle&id=1241%

Canadian nationals must present a valid passport to prove their nationality. Mexican authorities do not require a minimum period of validity of passports; nevertheless, this document must be valid at the time of entry and during the period you wish to be in Mexico.

Hello again Jade Brides, Jade Groom again, just wondering if 6 people at a table in the Bamboo room is too small? Thanks!

Also, still worrying about negotiating with the resort. Any tips?

      Thanks! :)

Im really starting to get addicted to this website...

Thank you for the replies to my previous questions...

Does anyone know how easy it is to waver the outside vendors fee?? Im getting an outside vendor to do my  hair and makeup, really because Ive got a tattoo that I want airbrushing for my big day. Do you think I can get away with paying for just a day pass? Or will they sting me for theoutside  vendors fee??

Oh and do you think its better if we just put the essentials on the Wedding planning form and go through all the extras when we get to the resort in the wedding meeting with Pilar? Do you think we will get a better deal?

        many thanks...again...

For passport concerns - ask your travel agent. I asked because a woman in our flight in January was turned away when we got to Mexico ... So I may be being over cautious, but I just want to make sure all is good. Khunt - thanks for that link. I am going to have it saved in case something does come about.

I can't believe how close my date is arriving!  I have decided to move my reception to the bamboo room bases on the layout of the the Ocean Terrace and want to get table clothes for the table.  Does anyone know the sizes of the round tables used in the Bamboo room?

              Thanks!

An iPod is free and you can put whatever mix you want on it!! The sound equipment and lights were only a few hundred bucks :D We'd definitely go that route again!

For past Brides (or anyone who knows the answer)... During a symbolic ceremony, do you sign a fake marriage cert during the ceremony? If so, is this something that was provided by the resort/officient or did you bring one with you?

We asked Pilar to make the symbolic ceremony look legal so she had a document ready for us to sign - we didn't need to create or bring one, she was on top of it!
