OOT Bags *good price*

Don't feel bad Ann & Jackie! I did the EXACT same thing about amonth ago... and I had been on the forum for many months!

 

I was thinking about skipping the OOT bags - do you think this is a real faux pas (sp?)? My budget has just gotten so out of control that I need to start cutting...

I'm hardly a wedding or etiquette expert, but I don't think it's a big deal if you skip that kind of stuff! We're all on a budget, and I think people will understand, and will remember your special event regardless of whether or not they get any gifts.

if its not in your budget, then it is not in your budget...and you have such a huge group that it would be soooo hard to do.

I agree Kashmira, we decided not to do an OOT bag but instead were doing really nice picture frames instead. I wanted my guest's gift to be something personal and know that it would be used.

I was thinking the same thing, I am skipping the OOT bags becuase most people pack all the pharmacy stuff like advil, pepto, toothpaste, ointment, etc.., I know I do when I go away! Anyway, I think a welcome dinner is a nice show of appreciation for your guests. Believe me they will be so boozed up and in awe of the resort that the'll forget what they came for!

At this point I am going to splurge and get the teachers tote. Confirmed guest list just got smaller so now I can upgrade. Thanks to Cheaptotes.com, this is by far the best pricing that I've seen ebay included.

i agree and i honestly dont think guest will notice and most of my guest will be grateful for free stuff...they are freeloaders lol lol JUST KIDDING ......so i am all for cheap tote...plus the stuff in my bag will be better than the bag lol
