I am doing an aisle runner on the beach, but I am not wearing hills, because it is too hard to walk on sand in hills. I am wearing a clear flip flop under my dress.

The resort provided a woven grass/rattan aisle runner for our beach ceremony. Not sure this is what you had in mind, but maybe the hotel already has something you could use?

Im not sure if I want one or not. I love the look, but what about when the sand gets on it or the wind? Looks great in the ads, but how is it for real?

I'm divided on this. Think I am just going to wear flip flops although my FH is quite a bit taller. I like the idea of an aisle runner, but I think the one I would have to buy that would be sturdy enough is a little out of budget. I checked out the link posted and they start at $350.

I would love an aisle runner so I think for the ceremony i'm going to wear barefoot sandals and for the reception I'll wear some heels. That way it's the best of both.

Heres my DIY aisle runner! I love it

Its flower petals from allforyourwedding.com hot glued onto wide ribbon. I will put on on each side of my walkway so I wont trip on it. It has a lot of weight to it but I will put seashells on it at the ends to keep it down.

I dont trust anything going into customs. Sometimes it gets held up for weeks. You may never see it at your wedding.
