This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a resort. First of all they tore the Gazebo down and did not inform the Bride until she arrived.
When guests arrived they did not have rooms available for several people. They wanted us to pay to upgrade to a honeymoon suite, but there was nothing else available. I insisted that if there was a room available, they were going to put me in it no matter what!
They actually sent people in the wedding party to other hotels surrounding Dreams. Then had them move the next day back to the resort. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
If you want to know more, feel free to ask.

WOW! so sorry that you had to go through that! You were scheduled to be married at the gazebo and it was gone ?!? Were you in contact with your wedding coordinator on a regular basis? was the WC onsite? I know this post is going to send some brides planning to be married there off in a frenzy!!!

What travel agency did the guests use to book the room?

Hopefully your travel agent was able to work out the situations with the rooms. That is one of the best reasons for having a travel agent.

But I hadn't heard anything about the gazebo? Odd.

I'm definitely interested in hearing more. I have a friend who is getting married there & don't want her to have to deal with any issues like this. It would be very helpful if you posted more information about your experience, especially any employee's that you dealt with.

Was the main issue with the rooms or were there also other issues in the customer service area, besides the issue with the gazebo?

Dreams should take control of those issues and compensate you, it was your wedding!!!. If they did it to you even when you took a long time before planning what else another brides should expect?.

I'm not buying this. This is a first time poster (who by the way broke the rules by not posting in the Noob section first), and there are ridiculous inconsistencies in that post. I'm calling their bluff.

Something seems fishy here. First off this person did not follow forum rules and post as a newbie. second they did not state their wedding date. Third I dont even think that this was the actual bride.
