    WOW....how have i never taken midol before? I cry during commercials on tv! I can't believe I never knew about this!

    I just wanted to chime in on the Midol thing... yes... it works.  We used it for my sister's wedding.  If you read back way to 2007 when I joined you can probably find posts from me about it actually!  But make sure you only take ONE!  You're not supposed to mix them with alcohol, so take one while you're getting ready and you'll be fine by cocktail hour.

     

    As for green flowers, my bouquets has green hydrangea in them and they were beautiful.  The wedding coordinator said the same thing to me... white is hard to come by, green is super cheap and easy to get.  Just remember that hydrangea wilt VERY quickly, so in a bouquet where they don't have a constant source of water that is something to think about.

      As I was signing a document at work a thought occurred, I'll only be signing with this name for another month. Has anyone practiced their new signature?

       

      Ever since we got engaged, I've tried to write my name more neatly because I know it's days are numbered. I think the hardest part will be dropping the g at the end.

        HAHAAH thanks - i never used to be such a cry baby!!!

        thanks for the midol tips ladies. I will use it on my big day - of that you can be sure. Now can my FI use it? He'll be worse than me! lol

          LOL I was wondering the same thing about my dad - I'm not sure if he's going to make it down the aisle!

              I just ordered some parasols to take with us for pictures - our colours are purple and green but those colours were sold out - so I got a white one for me and yellow ones for the bridesmaids (who are wearing purple). Do you girls think that will look OK?

                I think the yellow will pop with the purple dresses.  Especially for a spring wedding.  Makes me think of pansies. Good choice!
