Teira, your guestbook is really cute! It actually looks really similar to the one I'm making for myself, but I'm sewing mine all together and being very scrapbooky! haha.

My shower's this weekend! Yay! I went back to Home Outfitters to add some more items. That was relaxing at least.

Today sucks. I have a real feeling I'm going to rip someone's head off. Ugh...

OK Ladies I need some helps.... I STILL have not chosen the flowers for the bouquets and  I need to let my florist know tomorrow!!! I have the bouts down pat, they are perfect. For mine I'm not too worried but for the girls I wanted to go all green, but I can't find anything I love BangHead.gif

Here is what I have so far, I would love any suggestions or inspiration pics!! I just went through the whole inspiration thread on here but still didn't see exactly what I wanted.

Char I love orchids, but unfortunately they are pretty $$$$. I will likely have a few in my bouquet though.

Teira Hydrangeas are a fav of mine too, but I've heard the availability of them can be iffy in Mex, did you have any problem reserving yours?? PS. did you know your planning thread is being featured in the top banner of the home page?? How exciting!!

Meggers - loving the hydrangeas too!!

For all you criers, I read a great tip in another thread on here - one of the brides said she popped a midol an hour before the ceremony and it helped keep the emotions in check!  I think I'm going to try this for sure, cause I'm definitely not a pretty crier!

Wow, one day of a seven hour class and I fall totally behind. First off, thank you everyone for the words of encouragement. It's been a problem over the last few months and now that I know for sure, I'm going to make sure to be okay with it. I don't have a wedding party, or any friends on my side coming down (except my photographer, who gave me a really nice pep talk yesterday, which was awesome) so I think I will ask my FFIL to walk me down. We're very close, they live only 3 blocks from us and we pretty much see them every week, and they are our future babysitters. Brandy, sucks being sick! Chicken soup, Emergen-C, zinc lozenges, OJ, lots of echinacea tea and you should be back in time. Meggers, flower wise you may want to just bring down a jewel or something for each bouquet, that way they'll be even more personalized and the girls carrying them may feel more special and maybe they could keep the charm afterwards? Just a thought Laura, your girls weekend looks like it was awesome, really nice pics. Tisha, don't stress about the rings, the cool thing is that they were both custom made especially for you. No one is ever going to examine them as closely and be as critical, they are beautiful and that's what matters. Greys, beautiful dress. Fits you wonderfully. You're going to be a gorgeous bride. Lisa, great job kicking his butt into gear. I've been trying for weeks and I think I've still got the bulk of responsibilities. I've found that if I get him to work on things with me as opposed to sending him off on his own, we're a lot more productive together. Definitely never go to sleep angry. The morning can be extremely awkward filled with unneccessary tension. FI always seeks to read my mind when I'm upset or frustrated, so I never even get the chance to go to bed angry. Can't remember who, but awesome score on the honeymoon! Since the bill has been footed, I'd start contacting the resort and finding out their spa menus and any other special things for you two while you're there. And on a productive note, FINALLY ordered our guestbook this weekend through Mixbook. I can't wait to see it in person. I included pics from us growing up and all our guests and pics of those who aren't able to make it. It will be an awesome keepsake. And the guestbook off of Etsy looks adorable. What do the pages inside look like? I can't believe the early April brides are leaving so soon! What a long strange trip this has been, huh?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
