How are you giving the bags

Recommended Posts

this is going round in my mind as well we have 6 other couples arriving the same time as us and i want to give them out to them when we are in the hotel rather than before we travel. So am thinking of arranging to meet in bar a couple of hours after we land in the evening and handing them out then as everyone will be having an early night due to the jet lag from the flight to Mexico from London. The other 3 who arrive 2 days later I am going to meet in reception when they check in. I dont want to have them in the rooms already when they arrive as i would have to ship them over and i know there is the option to upgrade your room on check in and can see a few people going for that option. I dont want my hard efforts going to waste :-)

Great idea, I've been thinking on how to get them to people before we leave so I don't have to travel with them. We will be getting married right after Christmas also...now did you put something like a thank you for booking or anything? Typically people do a thank you for coming...just looking for some wording suggestions! : )

We wrote up a welcome letter and included one in each bag. It was a cute idea. I'm at work so I don't have it here but I'll see if I still have it when I get home. If not, do a search for welcome letters and you'll get all kinds of ideas, that's what I did.

i think i'm going to budget having the bags in my guests rooms (or given to them at check in).

i was thinking a bag per couple, but now a few of my friends are bringing their friends (ie. two girls per room) and I guess I'll have to do a bag each. ...and i can't do a bag for my bachelor guys as it's a little girly.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
