I would have paid for all of my guests to fly first class, top-floor suites at the hotel for everyone, and our honeymoon would have been longer.

One of my aunts told me years ago that the bride's name goes first, at least when you're using the last name, because you shouldn't separate a man's first and last names. So, all of our STDs and invitations were addressed to couples with the wife's name first. Just to be consistent, everything with our names has my name first as well.

Unpurchased FC seats are usually given to the frequent fliers with platinum or gold status. Quite often, these people are upgraded 24 hours before the flight, so you really should call your airline, or have your TA call if you're booking through a TA. If you're willing to pay for the upgrade, go ahead and call now to ask about the upgrade. I'm a flight attendant, and we aren't allowed to upgrade anyone, even if the plane is leaving with empty FC seats. Only the ticketing/gate agents can do upgrades. I don't know about other airlines, but usually it's just annoying when people get all the way on to the plane and ask me for an upgrade. FC closets are usually very small, so an overhead bin is usually the best place to put your dress.

I love the idea, and I've seen some amazing TTD photos, but the water in San Diego in May is not nearly warm enough for me to get in!

SDBeachgirl, we're getting married at the ZLAC rowing club on Mission Bay. We're staying at the Catamaran right down the street. I love the idea of just walking down the bayside path to my wedding! Phil's BBQ is doing our catering, and I think I'm going to order my cake from Cupcakes Squared in Point Loma. I was actually born and raised in SD, and my family is there. I just moved to Houston in September to be with my fiance. How funny that I'm getting married the day before your bday, because you're getting married ON my bday!! How long have you lived in SD? Where do you live?

She's the very best! We've been friends for years and I am thrilled that someone so close is so involved with helping me develop the look and feel of my wedding. She's (obviously) coming to my wedding, and I can't wait to tell everyone that she's the one who made my STDs, invitations, OOT bags, luggage tags, and thank you cards look so wonderful.

I'm sending my thank yous out as I receive gifts. I don't want to be overwhelmed by having to do them all after the wedding. Becks designed some adorable cards for me, with the same design elements as the rest of my paper goods.

I like to do the pilates and abs workouts. There was a good kickboxing workout that I used to do, but I haven't looked for it in a while. I love that they have short workouts that I can use to supplement my time at the gym.
