I'm interested to see what everyone has done or plans on doing with their chuppah... I love these two:

I am interested too. It seems hard to find what I am looking for. I love the second one with the fabric.

I really like those first 2!

This is sort of what I'm going for, but with aqua capiz shells hanging in the back

I absolutely love this. My only problem is how to get it down there once I DIY it!

                We bought these ones
Limited Edition Beaded Curtain : Aqua Capiz with Brown Wood Beads

That company also sells strands of multi-colored capiz shells that aren't pre-attached to a bar; they may have other colors too but I just looked quickly.
Capiz Shell Garland Strand, Multi Colors - Set of 4

Getting them down there is proving to be an issue. I thought we could just pack it in a suitcase, but it's too big. The strands of shells are secured onto a wooden mounting bar which is wider than any of our suitcases (& we just bought a BIG one). I emailed our resort WC & she assured me it'd be fine to have it UPS'd to her so hopefully it'll get there in one piece w/o being held up by customs.
