  1. Hi LaLa1116, I LOVED our videographer!! Here are a few of the clips or what I like to call music videos: http://vimeo.com/23311569 http://vimeo.com/22912009 http://vimeo.com/18284040 http://vimeo.com/17695020 Jaime
  2. Hi TriciaMichelle, We got married while in port at Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta.
  3. Congrats to both of you!! I LOVE being a mommy. I am so happy for you both! We named him CRUZ because he was made on our wedding CRUISE!! :-) I already want another one... hopefully I'll be posting the date of our next soon! I love the idea of keeping the gender a secret until the shower... I bet you'll have a bunch of people show up just because they want to know what its going to be!
  4. We ordered them from www.egrandstand.com We were able to fit the boxes (two of them) in our luggage and they were packaged pretty well so they all survived!
  5. No, I didn't get RSVP cards. We just directed our guests to our website to RSVP. We ordered 80 passport invites and it was around $350.
  6. I used BeyondDesign on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60448773/design-fee-passport-cruise-wedding The pictures on the link are our actual invites... they were $4.85 each... which was the most affordable I found. Totally worth it!! We got soooo many compliments!
  7. Hi Nikki! Your wedding sounds amazing! What are you hung up on for the wording? We got these amazing passport invitations on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60448773/design-fee-passport-cruise-wedding The pictures on that link are our actual invitations. We had four pages in the passport... the first page was the formal invitation. The second page was a greeting and had our travel agents info and some pricing on the cruise cabins. The third page had the cruise itinerary and a little synopsis. Then the fourth page listed the days and times of our wedding events... we had welcome cocktails on board the first day and then did a group excursion the day after the wedding. Here is what we used for the formal invitation page: I hope that helps! I can send you what we used on the other pages too if that would help. Happy Planning! Jaime
  8. Yes, we got color film also. He did everything! Here is another clip he just sent us today: As you can see we aren't a very graceful couple... Brandon stepped on the back of my dress and we totally fell in the water. It was hilarious! We definitely were not planning on doing a trash the dress session on our wedding day! Las Caletas is truly amazing... I'm so excited for you ladies that are going soon. I guarantee you won't be let down!!
  9. We got married in October 2010. We did the 7-day Mexican Riviera Cruise out of Long Beach and got married in Puerto Vallarta. It was amazing!!
  10. Our baby boy is due July 3rd... our first! So excited, can't wait to see him!
  11. Our videographer was David Bettencourt: www.davidbettencourt.com We really wanted a videographer that used Super-8 film and he was the most affordable. Here is a little clip of the old school Super-8 film:
  12. I just got this video clip of the firedancers from our videographer. They were amazing!! http://vimeo.com/22912009
  13. We still haven't got all our pictures and video yet but I thought I'd share what we do have! Here are two little video clips: http://vimeo.com/17695020 http://vimeo.com/18284040 And some pictures: We totally did not plan on "trashing the dress" at Las Caletas... while we were taking pictures Brandon accidentally stepped on the back of my dress and we both fell!! :-)
  14. We used the DJ Kelley had and he was amazing... we gave Kelley a list about a week before our wedding. He played exactly what was on our list... we didn't have to provide any of the music. After dinner he played all kinds of modern/hip dance music, which was exactly what we wanted. It was perfect! Here is the list we gave them: Ceremony Prelude Dave Matthews Band- You & Me Jack Johnson- Better Together Bryan Adams- Everything I Do Frank Sinatra- Come Fly With Me Amos Lee- Sweet Pea The Jerk- Tonight You Belong To Me Processional Somewhere Over the Rainbow- Israel K Brandon (Groom) seats Dorothy (Mom) JB (Best Man) seats Grandma Candi (Maid of Honor) Elvis (Ring Bearer) Angel (Flower Girl) Sea of Love- Cat Powers Jaime (Bride), with Greg and Vivia (Parents) Recessional Dean Martin- Ain’t That A Kick In the Head Cocktail Hour & Dinner (Big Band/Rat Pack type music) Frank Sinatra- I’ve Got You Under My Skin Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole- Unforgettable Dean Martin- Memories Are Made of This Bobby Darin- Beyond The Sea Frank Sinatra- The Way You Look Tonight Nat King Cole- L-O-V-E Dean Martin- Everybody Love Somebody Frank Sinatra- I Wont Dance Bobby Darin- Make Someone Happy First Dance Bride & Groom’s First Dance Jason Mraz- Lucky
  15. LilStarBlu... we just had our wedding and it was amazing!! The only reason we chose Carnival was because it was more affordable. We didn't book our wedding through Carnival. We got married while in port, at a place called Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta. Such a beautiful place, I definitely recommend it! http://adventureweddingspv.com/ Our guests said it was the best wedding ever :-)
  16. We're getting married in 10 days and our cruise leaves one week from today... SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18.  We used a few lines from the song Sea of Love...  Come with me, my love To the sea, the sea of love I want to tell you how much I love you  IT IS WITH JOY THAT BRIDE AND GROOM INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN A CELEBRATION OF LOVE AS THEY EXCHANGE THEIR MARRIAGE VOWS   WEDNESDAY, THE THIRTEENTH OF OCTOBER TWO THOUSAND AND TEN AT SIX O’CLOCK IN THE EVENING  LAS CALETAS PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO   Jaime & Brandon Signed in Love and Friendship
  19. Hello Ladies! I just took a little four day vacation to Puerto Vallarta with Brandon... so much fun! We stayed at a cute little boutique hotel in the Zona Romantica called Casa Dona Susana ($67 per night for the Jr. Suite). Here's the website: Casa Doña Susana They have an all-inclusive option for $20 or so more per day but we didn't go for it because we wanted to experience the local cuisine and go to different restaurants each day. We did the Outdoor Adventure with Vallarta Adventures, went scuba diving with Chico's Dive Shop and took some "engagement" photos with Eva and Toms at Photo Shoots in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (VERY affordable- $180 for one hour, $250 for two hours). We intentionally didn't go to Las Caletas because we wanted to save that for our wedding day! I can't wait to go back 5 months for our wedding! ~Jaime
