What a beautiful wedding!!! We were just in Playa last week on our site visit and stayed at La Tortuga. We have decided to do our rehersal dinner there :) We loved that hotel so much. Wonderful pictures and congrats on having such wonderful wedding.

Thank you Ladies!!! It was such a great time wink.gif

La Tortuga was fantastic!!! We had the majority of our wedding guests stay there and they were SO ACCOMMODATING!!!! We basically took over the bar area for the majority of the time that we stayed there.... such a fantastic hotel & staff.

EM is AMAZING! She was the reason I wanted to get married in the Yucatan and not on the pacific coast. She is a true artist and captures the emotions of the day so well!

My dress was a true collaboration between my seamstress and I. She really understood exactly the look I was going for and helped transform my dress into my dream dress (I guess my power point slides helped :)

Also, my I couldn't have done any of it without the fantastic Ladies of Wedding's Riviera Maya! Thank you so much Luisa, Gelena, & Adriana!

love.giflove.gif Hi Mona! Thank you for sharing your photos and of course for being a wonderful couple to photograph! It was so great to see how all your plans came to life on the day of the wedding, it was one of those weddings where the day seems to just fly right by! I really hope the photographs portray some of the emotions of the day and how much fun everyone was having in Playa del Carmen. I could tell that your guests were going to be talking about the wedding for a LONG time. Here are a few photos to give an idea of how the different locations in Playa del Carmen were used on the wedding day, there are more photos on my blog.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
