Karen, have an amazing wedding! You will be a beautiful bride. Can't wait to hear about it.

We leave on Thursday, so exciting!

Meli, I had a sore throat so I tried to get as much sleep and took vitamins. The thing is that you don't know if you need antibotics to knock it off. Maybe you should pay a visit to the doctor.

To everyone about to leave, have a blast and remember to take a moment to stop and take it all in. Our wedding night flew by. The only day it rained was the day of the wedding. It stopped by the early afternoon but was very cloudy and super hot (no breeze that night). Even though everyone was drenched in sweat, they said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The surprise fire dancers were a hit too.

Make sure you pack sunscreen lotion, not just spray. The spray runs out way faster and will ruin your pedicure (makes it tacky so sand sticks to it).

We took our laptop and it allowed us to keep in touch with those with delayed travel, the wedding coordinators, and photographer (who after the wedding, recommended some great places to eat in Bucerias and Sayulita for the honeymoon). We were also able to view some of the photos uploaded by friends during the honeymoon.

And we ran into FutureMrsGriffith on the beach during our wedding photos and their trash the dress. They might even be in the background of a few of them!

Yes, don't freak out... just take EmergenC, lots of it with hot tea, I like lemon tea and eat healthy, avoid alcohol... except maybe a glass of wine and get lots of rest and you'll be just fine :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
