Thanks girls!! I will ignore weather.com! You're all the best :)

Just got back from a nice spa pedicure & manicure (& wax). aaaahhh, so nice!

tomorrow's the legal day! P's parents, my mom and 2 of our good friends out here will be with us at the marriage bureau down in city centre. I wish my dad could make it, but he's already closing his office next week so he couldn't do it for tomorrow too. ah well, super excited nonetheless!

Di, glad your throat is better!

not to freak anyone out or anything, but the weather has been really hit and miss here in playa. we got here on 5/12 and the first several days were perfect. now, the last 4 days or so have been quite gray and rainy. yesterday, we had some sun during prime pool/beach time, so that was nice. today is our last day here and we're really hoping for some sun to send us on our way right!!

it's still great to be here even with cloudy weather. people are still playing volleyball, body surfing, and laying out... so relaxing!

Ladies,

I just found out my AHR (being thrown completely for me financially and all by some of my friends & MOH) is next Saturday! I'm actually completely freaked out by this... I feel like I've easily put on 10lbs during my honeymoon week... which lasted throughout this whole week as well, I'm not gonna lie blush2.gif

For you girls doing an AHR, any suggestions?? All I can think of now is to bring my guest books for people and maybe the wedding photo pictures of my parents and grandparents etc.

It's weird being totally in the dark about everything except, where and when!

Shannon - yep, still doing Vegas June 26th, we may end up having as many people there as we did in Mexico! Should be SUCH a blast, more casual etc.

Di - Good advice... but I'm a control freak, I don't know how to let other people take care of something for me, I always butt in... but I think I'm going to bite my lip and just let it happen :)

Jenny, I love your photos! They look great. I love the de-sanding station with the brushes, what a great idea! I've never seen that before. Your tables and seating assignment looked amazing! You must have put a lot of work into everything.

Congrats to everyone else who got married recently and best of luck to those who are just about to get married!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
