OMG

so sorry Wendy!  Wow you've got a great attitude!  Leave in 20 day
WHAT!  It all good!  My to do list is actually getting more managagable----off for 4 days at the end of the week!  We plan on wrapping things up (mostly) as far as the DIY projects, packing the OOT stuff etc----then we can just concentrate on getting our clothes pack and going to my 100 appointments ie:hair, facial, waxing blah, blah, blah!

We are doing ipod for everything... ceremony and reception. I have not started the music list so I am in a panic mode. How am I going to do all this??? My FI is suppose to help but we will see.

wedding planner suggested we bring an ipod and name all the play lists according to what they are ex: father daughter dance, first dance, party music etc.

I am so sorry to hear about your FI. What a mess... everything will be ok. I am glad he is OK and will be able to SMILE for the pictures.

On a good note, went to Mom's and did a hair trial and love it (she's doing it for the wedding), just recieved the "final details" sheet from the WC.  We leave one month from tomorrow!!

Wendy I am SO sorry to hear about this! Is he in pain? Oh no!!!! You wouldn't think that would be a dangerous thing but apparently not. I'm glad his face wasn't harmed (from the sounds of it). I hope you return to calmness soon. Keep us all posted!!! I'll be thinking of you!

Chong,

I'm in the same boat. That was one of two duties for FI and go figure, he hasn't yet....

Here are the playlists I am making (some will only have one song)

-First dance

-Father/daughter dance

-Wedding party dance

-Cake Cutting

-Main Playlist (mix of dancing songs and slow songs)

-Fast song only playlist

-Slow song only playlist

That was we can access everything fairly quickly. I may add a few more but that is the basics.

thanks for the well wishes.  we have been to both the oral surgeon and the dentist this week.  In 2 weeks from yesterday he will have a flipper/temp bridge and his bottom teeth will be fixed.  The long term fix for the upper teeth will be about a year n the making, bone grafts, possible gum grafts and then implants which is a 2 or 3 step process.  I wanted to hug my dentist and all the staff for working him in the next day even though he wasn't a regular patient (he hadn't found one here yet, we moved last year).  RELIEF!!

We finished our mugs/cups and submitted the "final wedding" details worksheet back to the WC...  In 1 month, I will be in Jamaica sipping some rum punch and hopefully relaxing!!

Good luck with the playlists, we need to make a tropical/jamaican mix for the mp3 players for the OOT bags and FI is not rushing to finish it very quickly.

Hi ladies -

happy almos weddings! I never post on this particular thread but thought I would check it out. A lot of the girls on my usual thread (Azul Sensatori) have either gotten married or are so many months behind me, they don't seem to have any answers to my questions. The exception, of course, is Chong who is getting married at the same resort on the same day! :)

So, for those brides getting married in Mexico. Is anyone freaking out about the weather? Not that I needed to add another thing to my "worry list" but I've just done it. I looked up the current weather there and seems to have been raining on T-storms for days and days now with days and days of more rain predicted. Ugghh. I am so worried. Gonna try and let it go but was just wondering if anyone could say something that would help me let it go. :)

Also, for those getting married in the beginning/middle of October, what's left on your to-do list?

THANKS! And happy wedding planning.

Amanda

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
