We have a guest that is going on our trip that is EXACTLY the same. She wants to know what time we are eating breakfast, thinks we should decide what resturants we want to do each night before we go etc... Everytime she brings these things up we just tell her that everyone can plan their own vacation and if they are doing somethings she wants to do she can join them, or she can make plans and people will go with her if they want. I think she is just really excited to go!

Haha thats exaclty what she is!! We went for our final fittings the other day and took a non-bridal party friend with us who can't make it to Jamaica. She wanted to see my dress. After like 2 hours, she turns to my friend - "Ashley, are you always this bubbly and hyper? I have never seen you calm!!"

Ahhh the joys of friendship. Luckily we are not on a plane with em!

LMAO, her texting is sooo funny! I would definitely be annoyed. I agree with everyone else she is VERY excited. Tell her you are NOT making plans but she is more than welcome to plan everything she wants to do and will do as long as she doesn't plan anything on your wedding day!

Awww... the poor thing has been hitting up trip advisor too much it sounds like. She's probably just trying to make sure the week goes smoothly so stressing about it now instead of then.

I would just sit her down and explain that at the AI she's going to have everything she needs within walking distance, so she might want to just relax and take advantage of all the free things on the resort.

YES! That is exactly what she has been doing all week!! Trip Advisor addiction!!! She actually apologized today to me and said shes just excited and she knows I can't make plans. I just laughed and told her it was fine. She just wants to know what time every little thing is happening, thats all. I will add to this though if she starts up again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
