I too recently had my dress experience and it was Amazing. Me and my mother-in-law and a friend went to this dress place in Lansing, MI :

It was such a wonderful experience. i did before hand go to Davids Bridal and wan't impressed at all. Though i found a few I liked. I discovered there are a lot of better made dresses for similar prices. i'm not a 'skinny minney' and thought that there styles and selection was over the top.

 

If you havn't made a decision yet, check this place out...give it a chance. I guarentee you won't be disappointed.

Last one for sure. It sounds like your first ahh instinct was right. Don't second guess, even though I am doing the exact same thing! I think I am going to choose the dress that I had that feeling about but started second guessing (so tried on tons of others after and just confused myself only to go back to the one I loved) too especially after seeing this thread.

Oh I just saw that mon cheri one after I voted. That one is gorgeous! It looks almost exactly like the one I want to get at David's Bridal but I still think the last one (even though no pic) because I think the shape of that one looks more your style and it looks so good on you. But if you get a pic of you in the mon cheri...I guess I'll have to vote again.
