Wow what about the sand? Did you just hang it up afterwards? Your Bonfire looks great. How was the weather? I guess thats a good plan if you can't privatize the restaurant.

The night of the wedding after the bonfire... the bottom  was definitely dirty from sand and walking in the water but still had to wear it for the ttd so after jumping in the water I hung it up on the balcony and let it stay there for the entire day... by the time we came up from being on the beach most of the day... it was dry and clean.. LOL

The Bonfire was awesome.. the weather was great  just super during the ceremony.. It rained a little the day before my wedding during another wedding but only lasted about 10 minutes or so.. Nicole said its usually windy the day after rain, but I'd rather the wind over the eain anyday :)

Bruceg05 - That's insane. Im at the Grand and I can have whatever outsider vendor I want. We just have to pay a $100 vendor fee in order to do so.  You know what ladies, you would think that Iberostar would be embarrassed at the lack of communication from a vendor that THEY RECOMMEND! WTH...

We need to unite and do something. My travel agent has been a doll, she's using her network to find me a place off site. I think we found one, keeping my fingers crossed! And you know what...right about now, I don't even care if it's going to cost me more then to have the ceremony at the Grand. I would so much rather give my money to a local Jamaican small business then a corporation that obviously doesn't care about their guests.

Maybe we need to unite and write a letter.

What time are most of you having your ceremony? Ours right now is at 4:30, however, I'm debating on moving it back to 4, even 3:30, just so we have enough time to take our photos without feeling or being rushed to do so during the 1 hour cocktail hour slot.

I agree. I e-mailed them months ago and the response was that Jodi-Ann Miller would assist me and I have yet to hear from them! I am e-mailing the WC at the Grand and I'm going to inform my travel agent. I know I have a while to go but they really need to be more accommodating.

I just don't get how they can have a vendor that doesn't get back to people...  Not to mention my e-mail was a simple yes or no answer, not a quote or anything.  I am so beyond irritated.

It's been a real crappy week planning.  One of my MOHs dropped out because she felt I had too many people standing up, blah blah.  And then she goes and tries to get my other MOH to do the same and proceeded to brag to her about the fact that she doesn't have to buy a dress and hers is going to be so awesome.  REAL COOL.  I never knew wedding planning would bring out the worst in everyone.  When are people going to get that this day isn't about them, it's about me and my hubby to be.

My dress, however, came in today!  A whopping 4 months ahead of schedule...
