Girl, are you ok with that? Those would be fightin' words in my house. I'd tell him to learn to like it, or get an "I am married" tattoo for his forehead. LOL

I'm kidding, that's just met. Probably because my first one used the excuse that it bothered him at work, so he took it off, but then pretended to not be married. And what do ya know....a new girl moved into my house 2 weeks after I moved out. My FI is surprisingly very excited about getting a new ring as well. He even wants a little bling in his. I was shocked.

Tell your FI there are some really awesome men's rings out there now...that have really stylish, comfortable cuts. And pretty reasonably priced too! Who knows, you might turn him. wink.gif

OMG - you are so funny & I will be sure to show him this post later this evening!  A few of my friends have been saying the same thing.

He's been married before, although he said he did not wear a ring then either.  I am with you, the more I think about it, I may try to sway him as the months go on.

I was researching ceremonies on this site and saw how there is the exchange of rings....ummmm, if he doesn't get a ring....it will look silly just him giving me mine?  DUHHHH???  Then I thought I could do just the blessing of the hands instead, but....the more I ponder it.....I need to work him!  LMAO!

I am sorry to hear that your ex...although there's a reason that's what he is!  Now you got the right guy!  :-)

Thanks for the support sister!    smile03.gif

bawahhahaaahahaa - just make sure it's tattooed backwards so he can read it when he looks at himself in the mirror!!

all kidding aside, I do agree. there is no such thing as, "I am not a jewelry person." *I* am not a jewelry person, but when it was time for us to get engaged, you better believe that I marched straight into Tiffany's like a seasoned champ to pick out my first and only piece of real, legitimate jewelry. not wearing a ring is just ASKING for trouble, welcome or not. it's just too universally accepted in our society. whether you're out drinking with friends at bars or chatting with coworkers, people need to know. TAKEN.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
