Hi again! Already posted in Nicyx's but figured I fit in here as well so might as well add to my collection of threads! Dreams Cancun baby! June 18th 2011... and am desperately waiting for a date or week twin so I have someone to possibly meet up with. I love talking to you gals here, but I'm such a concrete people person and would love to meet up with someone in the process.... am I the only one like this? I feel like everyone would just want to lock themselves away with their future hubby! I say, we already have to spend the first part of the week with family anywayz. Anywho congrats to you all, some of whom I've spoken with already!

Hello Ladies!

I'm another 2011 Bride as well.....in fact Feb 8th 2011. Yay! We have chosen the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum for our resort and wedding location. So far 28 of our family and friends have booked. We are planning to do a real simple ceremony here in town the weekend before and then do either a symbolic/mayan ceremony in Mexico. We were also lucky enough to hire a TA/Wedding Planner here in Vancouver who has dealt with the resort before. I guess if i didn't have her i would be more stressed. But I'm thinking it will be worth the $$ we are paying her. But i know that i will be continually on this forum for the next 49 weeks. :)

Cheers!

Guests have already sent in first deposits and we have 25 so far! All dresses are chosen, now I just wait and time is CREEPING along sad.gif

Oh man, that was someone I e-mailed that was in PV and very reasonable.. maybe Art & Colors or something like that? Found them on this forum. Sorry I'm not more help, looked through photographer emails but I only saved the ones in RM!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
