FI and I are going as Corps Bride and her Groom. I just think its funny and kind of morbid because we are getting married in less than 3 months.

Two years ago FI was the King of Hearts (a giant card) with a giant axe and I was a headless Queen of Hearts. We won first prize. I'll try and find a pic.

But I have some friends (2 couples) who want to go to a big party at a downtown hotel (I get free tix thru work) ... so now I have to change up my costume and find something good for me since I'm flying solo. (I wonder how I could do a "flying solo" costume? - that would be kinda funny).
You could get some wings and glue solo cups all over them. That would be hilarious!

One year a couple of friends and I went as Alvin and the Chipmunks. We purchased super large t-shirts in red, green and blue, found Simon's round glasses, found a red hat for Alvin and used tape to make Alvin's A :)

I told FI that we should go as "apple bottom jeans" and "them boots w/ da furr." I can tape red apples to the back pocket of my jeans and he can dress up like a big boot w/ fur. Stupid, I know, but I can't think of anything else embarrest.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
