DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA "thread"

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, sorry, I am a teacher so to keep my students away from me I have my FB on super settings! I will change the settings for a few days or just PM if you want me to add me. I posted my proshots, trash the dress, guests' photos, and random mexico photos.

Yeah, I'm reading through all this, and I'm rather concerned about our timeline. As it stands, our schedule is such:

I'm rather concerned that that is going to be really tight time wise, and I really dont want it to feel rushed all night long. I've already sent invitations out....would it be in poor taste to tell the guests they ceremony time has been pushed forward???????

6:00-6:30pm: Ceremony at Sea Side Beach

6:30-7:30pm: Cocktail hour with appetizers

7:30-10:30pm: Reception+Dinner+lots of fun! J

I was wondering the exact same thing as danasb788.

we are going with the judge only, i requested the info from patty romo for what will be said, if you havent asked her already ( or whoever your working with that deals with the judge info and blood tests etc. ) i suggest doing so, i learned that its translated by one of their team members as the judge does not speak english, and if the judge were to be late which i have heard stories of, she told me the person from their team would preform the ceremony on time and then come find us for when the judge came so we could do the legal stuff. that was definitly a good to know as i heard some stories of the judge being 40 min. late.

i would appreciate any info on the "classes" and blood tests as well. and how it went with judge only as i hear more about ministers.

Kerri I just read your whole review. Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed account of everything! I'm so sorry things happened the way they did but everybody in your pictures look like they had a blast!!!

I am disappointed in Fatima as well that she didn't actually have a plan B set and ready or even try to convice you to move your reception set up indoors knowing there was a ppossibility things could have gone array.

PS- I haven't heard from her  in a couple weeks (I haven't emailed, i'm been busy and had my bachelorette party) but I emailed yesterday and was getting strange respnses that made me think I am not dealing with Fatima now. My email was in regards to the cake and they kept emailing me telling me it was $4 extra per person if I have more than 20 guests...?? I already have received multiple contracts from Fatima- she knows I have more then 20 guests it's on the contract!! Was she let go? Or is anyone else dealing with a different person?? So confused! Though I wouldn't be surprised!!

Kerri congrats on your wedding and enjoy your new life as a wife!!!! <3

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
