I'm so addicted to the bare essentuals line right now. We just got an Ulta Beauty store so I decided to check it out and they did my makeup and I bought the starter kit and I love it!! I don't have sensitive skin at all but I like the lightweight feeling. I have since gone back this past weekend and had them try the smoky eye look on me and I bought some more eyeshadow. :) If you have a grease problem I tried the smashbox photo finish to put on under the foundation and it works like a charm or the anti-shine compact is pretty cool too.

I've been using bare escentuals for at least 6 months and I love it! I have sensitive skin & large-ish pores. I find that using the kabuki brush minimizes pore visibility. Also, it's pretty hard to F-up on the application. Never get any of those lame foundation lines. I like it most because I feel like it makes me look "natural" and glowy.

I love mineral foundations. I was skeptical at first since it was in an informercial, but a friend gave me some that was too dark for her and I fell in love with it! It does not break me out and I've been acne prone since I was in 3rd grade. In fact, it's the only foundation I've been able to wear that has not caused a breakout. I have switched to Laura Mercier's mineral foundation and I like the finish much better. My girlfriend got it for her wedding after hearing me talk so much about it and I did her makeup with it and she looked awesome. She even called me afterwards and thanked me for introducing her to quality products.

Tvt,

I ordered some Bare Minerals from an infomercial I saw and while I did use it for two weeks or so, I wouldn't buy it again.

I didn't think therre was anything amazing about it and while I like that it is 'bare', it just wasn't something I'd invest more $ in.

I LOVE bare escentuals. I have really sensitive skin. I can only use all-natural mascara and eye liners because I get eyelid dermatitis (the skin on my eyelids below my brow turns bright ready and gets EXTREMELY drive and flaky). That's probably way too much info. Anyway, I've been using BE for the last 2 years and love it. My skin is really clear and I don't have any problems from it.

I loved it as well. I just couldn't continue to justify the cost as my everyday lineup. It's only used for special occasions now, but the results are always flawless.

As a side note, I do have very sensitive skin prone to breakouts and had no issues with bare escentuals, but everyone's skin is different so I think it's just a matter of trying it out for yourself.

I have used it before and I have sensitive skin.

I use the 'concealer' powder everyday, but I cannot use the all over face powder foundation. I look too pastey and if I wear sunglasses, it makes nice little marks on the bridge of my nose.

They do have great colours for blush, eyeshadow and liner though and I will continue to use those.

Well I don't know if its a coincidence but the first time I tried it my face was itchy on fire. My skin is a nightmare with allergies!

Anyway I left it a few months and now I'm using MD formulations I gave it another whirl and it was fine BUT 2 days later mega spots lol

It might be a coincidence tho - i'll defo give it another go tho as I've got the starter kit

Wow Who knew? I wanna try Bare escentials now! this was like one long infomercial for it. I have always wondered about it but never tried. I don't ever wear foundation cuase I like to feel like my skin is "breathing" but it seems like everyone loves this product for the most part.

Tara- I don't think that you look too pale. It's a little hard to tell because it looks like your arm id a little bit in a shadow in the pic.

as a sidenote- I love your dog!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
