I am so upset I cant even fking comprehend this. I went to get my eyebrows waxed today-waited since end of June to save money and I made this appt weeks ago to get the lady who did them nice for me last time.

Today arrives-Im all excited, shower, maiosturize....go to the appt.

I get them done-she made some touch ups but said they were perfect! I looked at them-thought they were uneven...but I was soooooooooo swollen and red it was hard to really tell, so I left.

I get home, red goes down and take a look.

ARE YOU FKING KIDDING MEhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif

The left one is too fking short, and higher than the right. problem is-the right one looks good-but now I will have to shorten it and not even look like my fking self. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I called so pissed off-but didnt go crazy. She said to come back at 345 and they will fix it-how the fk are you gonna fix it? i cant grow hair in a fking week you a$$holes!

Im seeing someone different at 345. I am so upset I cant even explain it. I went to my normal salon-didnt do anything weird. helloooooooooo btch you knew my wedding was in a week-you should have been more careful! Even if it wasnt my wedding-NO ONE should get left with uneven fking eyes!

(hope i didnt swear too much-I am beyond pissed off) I cant even believe how much I swore at the mirror and cried sad.gif

I'm sorry that had to happen a week before your wedding. But first off, you should have gotten your money back. I know you were upset and everything but you were unsatisfied and not happy. Are you doing your own makeup for your wedding or and artist? Because if you really don't like it after you get it fixed, they have eyebrow shadow to fill the brows out. I hope you get it fixed, good luck!

i had something similar happen. my eyebrows are difficult because i have a scar on my left one so tehy grow differently. I finally decided to get them straightened out. so I went to someone who said I needed to grow them out for 6-12 months. they looked so bad, but I let them grow out during that time. then she made them look awesome. I kept going to her until she moved out of state. when I made an appointment with someone new i explained what makes my eyebrows more complicated & told her how long it took to get them nice.

and she waxed 1/2 of one right off! it was a few weeks before we took our engagement pictures. I was worried I couldn't grow it out by the wedding, but I did. I had much mrore than a week though, I had 9 months. it actually came back better.

I used a very subtle eye brow pencile to fill it in as it grew out.

I'm much picker about my eyebrows than my hair I'll get my haircut by a student, but I'm very particular about who does my eyebrows.

Oh no!!! Like Morgan I have a scar in my eyebrow- which even causes a damn bump on my face when I smile. Anyways, half my eyebrow fell out when I had that accident and didn't grow back in forever. Then one time all the hair fell out when I was super stressed. Not sure why, but I was left with charlie chaplan eyebrow (just one!) again. Use some eyebrow shadow/pencil. It will work! I promise. :)

Ok I know you are pissed and upset but don't freak out. I don't think you should go back to them, they will just want to wax more off and it will only upset you more. If you do go to them ask them what they are going to do to make it better before you let them touch you again.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. What you have to do is get a good brow pencil and pencil it in. Fill in the other one too if you need to even them out. You can even buy fake eyebrow hair from a beauty supply store. I know that sounds so weird but you can glue some on to the shorter eyebrow and then fill in with a pencil.

If it won't look okay with a pencil then you will probably have to let them wax the longer one to at least make them match.

I'm so sorry, I know how annoying this is and especially right before your wedding. girl_werewolf.gif

AHHH! that sucks i'm so sorry that happened right before your wedding. I agree with Glenda... I think you should experiement with an eybrow pencil- or better yet go to a makeup counter and have one of the girls do it for you so you can see how it's done. KWIM?

How frustrating!

I'm sorry you are going through this! It can be fixed...
I agree with Angel. I recently went to Sephora with a friend of mine who had her makeup done. She has very little eyebrow hair. The makeup artist used eyebrow shadow to fill in & even eyebrow gel!?! Crazy huh? But in the end, it looked beautiful! and still natural too!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
