Josie your invites look fantastic! I absolutely adore that shirt from express. That's exactly what I was thinking, but my FI is dead set on wearing a linen suit. Fine with me! Katie: I like the 1st shirt-- are you going to have him wear a flower or anything to jazz it up a bit?

Oh, and Paige- have not booked Elizabeth Medina yet-- still waiting to get my deposit together. We're moving to save some $$ until the wedding and we're moving back home to Denver-- but then also the FI's expensive tires needed replacing. When it rains, it pours!! I really hope she's still available...

Ok, so turns out we have to go with the first one, just because it comes in a few more sizes than the second one. I'm going to order one tonight to see how it is before I have everyone else order it.

Jannae- I'm sure (hopefully) that you still have plenty of time to book Elizabeth Medina! I definitely know how you feel though about a million expenses all happening at once! Between planning a wedding, building a house, and going back to grad school I tend to get VERY stressed out VERY quickly!

Happy Monday Ladies. I was a BM in a friend's wedding this past weekend & it got me so excited about my own wedding!! I have a few questions for you:

1) I am thinking about having RSVP's due 2 months before my date. Do you think this is enough time?

2) After dinner, are you having a receptin w/ dancing?

Thanks!

Alexis

Hey ladies, sorry I haven't been on for a while I was on vacation in Newfoundland...it's very beautiful there!

shellk - the jewelry you picked is awesome!

MrsMarch -

1 - I have my rsvp's due by August 31 so 2 months is about right. Unless you want more time for making OOT bags (which I kinda wish I had done...)

2 - Yes, we are having a reception with dancing at the rprm. We are not having a AHR though so this is our full blown wedding.

    • Paradisus is actually notorious for doing this and we have to fight with them all the time to get the rates lowered. Are you using a TA to assist you?
    • Moon palace cancun offers Sikh priest. Janina Mendoza in weddings was very nice and able to help me.. suggest to contact her.
    • First of all congrats!!! Costa Rica is a magical place for a wedding  Are you working with a travel agency for your rooms? If not, I would highly encourage you to do so because an agent can often help you get in contact with the wedding department to get that conversation/communication going. I would suggest working with Wright Travel Agency, the official agency of this forum. These agents are specialist in destination weddings and have access to great promotions and group perks in addition to being able to secure the best rates for your group. Best of all the agency does not charge any fees to use their service, but it will take a load off your plate not having to worry about arrangements for travel for you and your guests. Shoot an email over to info@wrighttravelagency.com and one of the team members will get back to you and get the ball rolling for your group and the wedding department! Best wishes!!!
