One of what I am sure will be many funny/frustrating wedding planning moments:

Last night I had an old friend from Ireland over for dinner -- he was travelling through the states and just in town for a bit so it was great to catch up. Since I'm so excited about wedding planning-- I wanted to show him stuff about the wedding. I had made postcards for the OOT bags for folks and the picture on the front is an image I shot at one of the local beaches on the island. Then in the upper corner, it says the name of the island and the month, year of the wedding.

He looks at it and says "what language is september in?" -- and he's dead serious, not realizing that it isn't written in a foreign language -- it's is JUST MISSPELLED!

Opps. Apparently, I'm getting married in Sepetember 2009 and I have 100 postcards to prove it. Eek. Luckily I only paid for shipping (I think it was about $10) so it's not the end of the world. Just a silly, stupid little mistake.

Oh well. At least he caught them before I put them in the OOT bags!

    Time to re-order!

I'm just waiting to find a typo on my invitations. It's amazing, no matter how many times you proof-read something, a mistake always seems to get through. Like you said though, at least it's only $10.

Dont feel bad it is ten dollars. I am a teacher and my students are constantly correcting my spelling. I play it off by saying I was testing you, and I give them 5 points on the next test.

You could just keep them and see if anyone notices! Buy them a drink if they catch it! LOL

We had 24 people attend our wedding in Las Caletas, Mexico on May 24th, 2009!

We all stayed at The Marriott in P.V., and Honeymooned at The Royal Plantation in Ochos Rios, Jamaica!

on no! i feel you on this. i ordered STDs with the wrong date! It wasn't until my mom's friend looked at them and said "I thought they were getting married on the 2nd?"

some how FI, and I and my mom and dad managed to miss the date!

at least you only paid for shipping though... so that's not too bad!
