Their signature cake was included in one of the packages we chose. This is the one I chose. It's alright but I am really simple. Haha.

Hey we have a 2 layer cake so these are the 2 flavors we're going with I just copied these from the bakery's website:

Homemade Lemon Poppy Seed Layer Cake

A light lemon poppy seed cake filled with fresh strawberries. We finish this cake with white chocolate butter cream

Homemade Inside Out German Chocolate Cake

An amazingly rich concoction of chocolate devil’s food cake spiked with espresso. We fill the center of this layer cake with toasted pecans, caramel and toasted coconut, and then finish it with bittersweet chocolate ganache.

This is so decadent. A chocolate lovers dream. I don't eat chocolate but this cake could change that. Nice.

I don't think I posted mine yet - we are having one layer of tres leches and one of mocha. My dad kindly did the tasting when my parents were down there for vacation.

At first the chef didn't understand the red & orange colors and the tasting cakes were pink and yellow needless to say our wedding coordinator from the hotel was embarrassed and kept promising my parents that the cake will look how we want it to - I wish I had a pic it looked like a kids birthday cake! Oh well hope they do better for the wedding!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
