Hey I recently got married in St Thomas and we are honeymooning in Negril the end of July and we are looking to do a TTD/couples BD session (had no time for the wedding bc we cruised to the island) and a kind of. I'm going to contact both Diane Campbell and Merrick Cousley and anyone else I can find. Wish me luck bc I'm not interested in paying more than $500. Wish me luck.

Ladies can I just say (if I haven't already lol) that my hair was so not important to me on my day. I was so drunk the night before the wedding (Yay Puerto Rico) that my MOH and BM literally put my curlers in my hair at around 2 am and they used Lotta Body which never dried bc I was up at like seven. So I had curls that lasted maybe 2 days but they were actually loose like I like them. Then one of my LS's just pulled the front of my hair back and tied it I think as she was putting my blusher on me. I didn't even think anything of it and IMO it turned out great.

Thanks ladies for all the compliments. To be honest with you all I didn't think ab my weight when I went dress shopping. My only concern was that with my large breasts my bras put indentations in my shoulders and they are really bad IMO (no one shopping with me even noticed mainly bc my whole family and almost all my friends have the same issues lol) but once I started dress shopping I didn't even notice it. I shopped at David's Bridal and they had dresses in all sizes. Plus if the dress doesn't fit they put these little panel things in the back so that even though the dress doesn't fit you get to see how it would look. IMO David's has horrible customer service. So I went to the Bridal Boutique in Columbia (if you live in MD lol) and they had gowns in alotta different sizes. If you are worried ab your appearance (which none of you should be bc you're all beautiful and this is your big day so who cares what others think :-) ) schedule yourself during the off season at an early morning appt. I started gown shopping in Jan which was really busy with May/ June brides having 1st fittings etc. But by the time it was my turn to have my 1st 2nd 3rd 4th etc lol fittings the shop was empty bc my wedding was in Nov. So in conclusion you'll all be fine!!! Ok lemme get outta here lol.

Welcome Crista I got married on Nov 10, 09 so you're my date twin Yay!!! Even though you're in Canada you should know that you're getting married on Marine Corp Birthday (my hubby's a retired Marine).

Thanks Erika, I'm working on cropping some pics on photobucket to put on BDW but it took forever to load those pics on shutterfly. I started loading them ab 30 mins be4 hubby and I went to dinner (and game stop lol) and they still weren't done when we arrived home like 2 hrs later lol. I'm not even putting them on facebook i just put a link to shutterfly. I'm going to make photobooks thru My Publisher for Christmas presents to my parents and grandparents. And I'll make one for myself. Can I tell you guys that I don't even know what I ordered from the photographer. He sent me a picture cd the week after the wedding but I don't know if we ordered prints or anything. I really messed up with this one. Oh well I'm off to email him.

Thanks Susie. When I look at my pics it always looks like my gown was falling down even though i know it wasn't. My seamstress sewed my bra into the gown. The ladies at the bra shop told me that someone with my bra size should never wear a sweetheart neckline bc bras in my size are mainly full coverage, but hey I pulled it off. I always think to myself "girls are paying for what God gave me naturally" lol. I really may need to look into a reduction at some point. My wedding pics made me think that my breasts were really exaggerated but my hubby's like no they really are that big. I never noticed them being that big before. Oh well. Erika I know this'll sound weird but your face looks awesome. I see no signs of the accident. Your blessed. I was in a bad accident a few years ago (my bm was driving drunkish and fell asleep at the wheel I was already sleep) and the airbag burned my face. It was horrible. At one point when I was being discharged from the hospital and my face made a little kid think I was a monster and she was literally hiding behind her mom crying. I freaked out. But that was like 6 yrs ago and I have not one scar now,

I waited a while to answer this question bc I really wanted to think it over. So here goes... What I wouldn't do again My wedding was such a beautiful day, but there were some huge issues that stemmed from my WC: So this first thing I wouldn't do again is work with Island Bliss Weddings in St Thomas.I felt that my WC was unprofessional. She wore shorts to my wedding, she lied to us about a bill that we had to pay when we arrived on the island. The bill ended up being 60% higher than we were told. Since we've been home she said that she was reimburse us for the bill. She sent us a check for less than 1/3 of the bill. Also she changed the site of my wedding and we found out from the cab driver enroute and then of course she lied again stating that she told us and the info was on our invoice. That was untrue so everything we had printed with our wedding site was wrong. I would never work with her again. I would change going on the 8 day cruise with 42 ppl. While I love my family and friends after my wedding I really wanted to be alone with my hubby and while my family and friends afforded us that opportunity I felt bad about it so we ended up hanging out with the family alot. Wear A sweetheart neckline gown- My breast are way too big for that Getting my alterations done at the gown shop- That wasn't a good idea I spent way too much on alterations and while I won't quote my gown shop bc I really liked them (or at least the ledo's pizza place next door haha) they really messed up the front of my gown by cutting the top layer to short. Once it was done it was done so i didn't freak out about it but I was very disappointed. Things that I would do again Get married in St Thomas on Megans Bay Beach (Ok so yes I'm mad that my wedding was moved to Megans Bay beach but I had to admit it was a beautiful beach, just way too busy with 3 other weddings surrounding ours and ppl swimming in the ocean right where my wedding was) Work with Ana De Roux for invites, programs and menus. She is truly the best. She works with you and I can't say anything more expect she is just great!!! My tour after the reception with Sunny Liston- he's the best tourguide in St Thomas everyone loved him Book a suite with Carnival OMG the room was awesome and while I would only get the room for my wedding it was great Over organize in the beginning so that once we started the vacay I was really on vacay and was stress free. As you see above we had alotta stressful event take place on our day, but I was so carefree that no one knew ab it but me and my hubby!!! Ok I think that's it.

My Big Hits The actual bags (I used the hibiscus bags from OTC) Snack bags Hand Sanitizer Brochure with Wedding day itinerary. Keycard holders Misses Everything else lol Homemade soaps mugs (we were on an 8 day cruise so in retrospect the mugs wer useless bc ppl were always ordering alcoholic beverages so they didn't need the mug and then there were times when I wanted to use my mug but bc we had plans after the meals I didn't want to lug it around)

I don't think I was nervous at all (on my wedding day). Alot of it had to do with the night before and morning of. The night before the wedding I got so drunk that it was unreal. (I am a person who usually only drinks on vacay) But we went to a nice little rest in San Juan and I shared a pitcher of Sangria with 5 ppl. Then we went to a bar and did shots as well as I had a Mojito (my cruise director Wee Jimmy gave it to me, the best mojito I've ever had) followed by another drink. Then our group of 6 hooked up with 3 more girlfriends (my hubby was with us as well) and we found a Jamaican bar and did more shots and i had one more drink. At that point it was time for us to get back on the ship. We all planned to go eat something on the ship. Of course we passed a bar on the way. My friend bought me another drink. I started it but gave it to hubby bc I know I was way over my limit. After eating pizza and freaking out crying etc. I went to my room so my bm's could set my curls for wedding day me and hubby had a huge argument ab my drinking (as if he wasn't drinking right along with me). We then passed out for ab 5 hrs. Then it's wedding day. He gets up and isn't talking to me (I now see why we should have spent the nite separate) bc he was pissed at me for getting so drunk (I later learned that I was really mean to him in front of my friends which I really don't remember). So I really had no time to be nervous bc I was more worried ab him being angry at me... although no one would have known. Also it was fun that the morning of my wedding all my girlfriends sorors and my sister and cousins hung out in the room with me. They all helped me get dressed and did my hair and makeup. They kept asking me if I was stressed I'm like no I feel good. It helped that I was over organized bc even though I was drunk out of my mind the night before the wedding everything ran smoothly wedding day bc everyone in the wedding party had their itineraries and they all knew what to do in advance. After hubby left the room I got up turned on my music and took a 30 min bath in my jetted tub before my mother and grandmother and friends started arriving to help me get ready. That bath really calmed me but I don't remember not being calm as much as being a bit annoyed. After I left the courthouse I was so calm nothing really mattered all the issues of the day fizzled away and I was just very happy. Vikki your TTD Pic is great. We didn't get them done. We are thinking about doing it during our honeymoon. I know with the BDW Cabo trip Tammy B was having TTD Photography specials. Ok I'm on my way to MVA and SSA to change my name.

Wex if you want to get married thru the cruiseline than you have to use the wedding experience. But since you want to get married on the island you can use an on island coordinator. I worked with Janelle Scott of Island Bliss Weddings. Happy Planning.

Kiera that would be fine I'm sure. It doesn't matter when it happens, just thta it happens you know. But be careful alot of resorts offer honeymoon packages but it has to be withing a year after the wedding date. Congrats to everyone getting married soon!!!

OMG on my wedding cruise the DJ played the song in the disco. Everyone went wild. I kinda hate/love the song. I love it bc it's funny and I watched Kim make the song so I feel connected to it you know. But realistically the song sucks. Well actually it would be a great song if Kandi sang it. It's def a fun song.

Ladies I'm back from my wedding, but I think I will have to drop out of BL. I really have no desire to lose any weight and my new hubby loves my size (so he says hahaha). So good luck to you all!!! Lose lots !!!!!!

Thanks guys I really don't have many pics. i'll let you all know when I get my pro pics. Most of those were taken by my sister (MOH) the little girl is my niece she had just started walking maybe a week before we left. So my sister snuck a pic of her walking at the reception. I've been so stressed since I've returned home and there's so much I need to post. But I am gonna try to catch up this week. My hubby is working on our honeymoon. So I don't have to do that. it looks like we won't be doing anything until June bc I'm currently neg on vacay days so I have to wait to build up more :-(.

Hey ladies I'm back YaYYYYYYYYY!! The wedding was awesome. My WC sucks so bad I really hate her. She did so many things that pissed me off but I didn't let them ruin my day. But after the fact I am so angry with her. I am sending her an email this afternoon. She literally had us pay a bill that was 60% higher than what we were told. Of course she left the reception right before it was time to pay the bill. Then the worst part was that my wedding was on a totally different beach. I found this out from the taxi driver on the way to the wedding. She then ignored my calls and then had her hubby call me and lie and then she called me and gave me a different lie. I am currently gathering info to send to her, but she is the worst. Other than that I will try to have pics up soon.
