it does work and it is cheaper than using your cell phone to call out.... call your service provider....I have Verizon and we text to eachother while we are there all the time

Sometimes, you have to call your provider and set something up. I have Tmobile and I had to call and tell them where I would be. (It was free for them to just flip a switch) It costs a lot though... at least mine was like 15 cents a text and 65 cents a minute to talk... that was in Canada though

or if you have a blackberry and are trying to contact someone who also has a blackberry then you can just "pin" them. I do it all the time when I am in mexico and it's free. but it only works from blackberry to blackberry.

I was there in October, and I had no problem (provider: T-mobile) texting people back in the States. The friend I was with, however, had Sprint and despite multiple calls to Sprint representatives before she left was unable to get them to set up international service for her. I think difficulty might vary depending on your provider.

Call Sprint and see what they say. And if they tell you "of course" I'd love to know about it!!!

I have Verizon and I texted when I was in Cancun and it worked fine. I didn't have to change a thing. I've already texted from Hawaii and had no problems, even taking pics and sending them

We have Cingular and we had no problems texting or calling. We didn't have to put the country code in front of the number either. We have free texting, and there were no additional charges.

    • Hello all!! I'm planning to get married next week. I'm working in an MNC and I'm gonna marry my colleague who is in my company. It's been ten months since we have started our relationship. He used to support in all my difficulties and used to help me in my work. Always he used to tell me about my smile. He says that I have a very good smile and he loves it. Recently I lost my front tooth after an accident and it resulted in a bad look for me. He told me that I lost my beautiful smile. I was totally disappointed and thought of finding a solution. I heard about dental dentures and took an appointment at a clinic in Scarborough. Will dentures affect my speech? What was your experience of getting dentures?
    • Go for the third one. It is gorgeous and you will look stunning in that. I'm sure you will be noticed by other people. Go for it.
    • I would suggest the long one. You will look stunning in that. It is simple and elegant.
    • Both the gown are awesome and I'm sure you will look gorgeous in both. But I would suggest the first one. Go for it and Congratulations for your marriage.
    • Hello everyone,  I am still engaged, still not planning the big day, because we haven't chosen a date + we have some family stiff to do so I hope that this forum will help me a lot before the real craziness during the wedding planning period. Happy to be here
