I bought silk petals. My resort said they would clean them up. But, I decided not to use them because they could possibly blow into the water.

I plan on buying a bag of petals when I get there ($10 per bag). I was told a bag is enough for 10 people. I haven't decided it I just want to give petals to the people on the aisle or everyone.

I bought bright blue organza bags to put them in.

You can not take real petals with you.

love the saying, my guests are giong to blow bubbles so I will change this saying to blowing in the air etc. my flower girls are throwing silk petals, and silk hearts just for something a little different

You would probably still need to buy them when you get there. I think it's concern about insects tagging along that prevents you from flying in real petals.

Throwing real petals isn't bad for the environment, right? Does it hurt if some real petals end up in the ocean? I wouldn't think it would, but I should find out before we do this.

Yeah that is my fault I sound like an idiot. I meant like that paper stuff that disintegrates in the shape of flowers. You know like the Listerine things that go on your tongue and then are gone. Or like the things you put in the bath that are all different colors but when the water touches them they vanish.
